I got help from James, literally all day, and he told me they would stay later if I needed. He answered my 1000 questions with a smile and a great attitude. He explained every function of the bike, cleaned it up even further then it already was, took me around to meet each department, and was just overall greatly helpful.! The manager, on the other hand had sleazy dripping all over him. He tried to rationalize why I should be happy buying a bike with a torn seat, I decided it wasnt worth it try mental gymnastics with a guy running on only two cylinders and no conscious. He was stuck in one groove. However the guy who really was difficult was the paperwork - money guy. He really had an attitude and clearly need s to be in Anger Management. He wasnt outright rude, but VERY Sullen. Maybe becasue I wouldnt buy the $2500 warranty that he was selling? Top marks to Jeff in Parts, he took a bit of time to explain the catalogue to me. And the women, I didnt get her name in merch, was very nice. So was the women in Service! So, ask for James, stay away from the manager, suffer through the money guy, and meet all the rest! Overall I was very pleased and I give them 5 stars. They need to fire the money guy so he can go find a job/life that makes him happy cause it sure isnt this one.

Thank you for making a thirty year dream come true . after month,s of shopping on the computer . thinking I fond my dream bike a 2002 ultra classic, and going thru the best time when i came down the stairs with all the paper done and the place lit up clapping wow that was fun . now what i thought was the end of that dream . getting home and going over it . mind you i live over 250 miles away . I fond a noise in the motor . ow no . I called Phil the next day . he told me to take it to a local shop . them taking both side cases off and finding nothing and calling Phil back they came over 250 miles to pick it up and taking to there shop . they rebuilt the motor and brought it back to me another over 250 mile trip . my god what kind of shop does this kind of service . I with much pride can tell you who Renton DOWN TOWN HARLEY . of Renton Washington. thank you so very much for more then making sure my dream came true . THANK YOU!!!!!!

UPDATE: Out of fairness I thought I would update this review. After a bit work with the service folks I was able to get the work I needed done. They are a busy dealer and they did all the could to work my issues. In the end I was very happy with the result, once we got over the original frustration. Great sales team and friendly people. However, good luck getting service. For weeks I have been trying to contact them to have a few recall issues resolved. I was not demanding any specific time, I was just looking for an appointment at their convenience. I tried all forms of contact available. I did get one response asking for my VIN, which I gave them and asked for an ETA on a date. Waited a week or so for a response and NOTHING. I will be taking my business to other locations now. Its a shame, I have bought 3 bikes form there and really liked the sales team. But, I cant go back now.

I had a rear tire tube replaced, and a week later, the tire was leaking air again. Not a big deal, it seems I am always picking up a nail and puncturing the tube. I was leaving on a family trip, so I left the bike with instructions to repair or fix. I told the service writer I had not had a chance to check it, they remembered I had been in recently, and I headed out on my trip. When I went to pickup the bike, the checkout slip was marked Warranty on tube, No Charge for R & R. I paid zero. They covered the labor to do the work, and I believe it would be a 1.5 hr job. I did not know why it was leaking, I told them I did not know it was leaking, they could have charged me for another tube and labor, and they were very honest, warrantied the tube, and covered the labor. (At a very busy time of year) Thank you Lawless for your honesty.

Im a Buell owner, and recently while trying to get at a spark plug on my bike, I broke it off. I called on Downtown Harley to pick my bike up and take the broken plug out and replace them both. A Downtown Harley-Davidson employee made a mistake and tried to turn on my bike while the porcelain from the spark plug was inside the head. As a result, my bikes head was damaged and needed to be replaced. But the guys at Harley-Davidson were honest that it was their mistake and they made up for it by paying for the new piston and head and the labor. How often do you get honest service from a mechanic shop?? Im sure its not often they make mistakes, but it looks like on the rare occasions that they do, they wont screw you over. These guys really did the right thing and Im back on my bike. Thanks Downtown Harley-Davidson of Renton.

I waited a month to get my bike in for a oil change and my clutch was slipping. I told them since I had to wait a month for them to let me know if anything else was wrong so I could get it fixed. I also asked if they could add air to the rear shock. They call me a day or two later and say my bike is ready good to go. I pick up my bike and they give me a list of things wrong with it. Instead of calling me and asking if I would like them to fix it they give me a list after waiting a month? I took it to Eastside Harley to fix it. They got me in within a few days fixed the list, found that the rear shock was blown which lawless missed. A month later my clutch is now slipping again. These guys do trash work dont care. They are a gimmick shop with cool name and shop but I would not to business with them again.

I just want to give a shout out to Cheryl, the parts manager, for all the help and assistance she provided to us for a fairing mount we had on a free wheeler this past week. Further, the mechanic was great and explained things to me on the mounting. I was waiting (Customer wait) for the job to be completed and the people I came in contact with there were great! Customer service is where it all begins and feeling welcomed from the minute you arrive. I ask that you strive to exceed the standard. We drive from Spanaway to use your dealership and with both of us being professionals, we are looking where to take our business and spend our money. We will continue to use your dealership as long as we feel welcomed and get great service! Have a super day and keep pushing wind therapy!
