Yo, I just got a side piece from here. Not going to name the artist, but I was impatient, wanted a tattoo, and they did walk ins. I was stoked with the sketch, got it on my body, and then the tattooing begun. His machine was ridiculously high. His hand was ridiculously heavy, it was just unnecessary... I had mentioned before how I had wanted my tattoo to look, light black outlines, light shading, for a pretty side piece that would turn heads. What I got was not what I had in mind... the lines are so heavy and thick.. some of the pieces and pedals dont make sense.. Sucks having more wobbly/uneven lines then even lines.. the artist was sweet and funny and I was comfortable, (the pain was tolerable but also would have been easier if he wasnt pulling skin with each stroke) I was relatively fine until I saw the finished product in the mirror.. pretty unhappy with my tattoo. Luckily, I have an artist in auburn named Jay at Derm FX tattoo, who I know can fix some of the mistakes Im really unhappy with.. worst part is, the whole tattoo is way to thick for what I was going for... and honestly every tattoo Ive seen come out of this shop I havent thought was amazing or even close to breathe taking. Thought Id just share my experience publicly so people can take note... sucks knowing I have to get touch ups when you first look at your new tattoo that you were really excited about.. honestly, I wish I didnt have to pay for what I got..

You have read the reviews below about cleanliness, orginization and how amazing the staff are. These qualities are VERY important when trying to find a place that is going to put permanent art on your body. What the reviews do not mention is, when you get a tattoo, especially your first one, you have an idea of how you think the tattoo should look and where it will go exactly. Two times now, I have been in to see Dave B. with an idea of what I want. He tells it honest and advises what could be done to either improve the look or the location of the art. Most artist only want a paycheck ( none of the artist at Diamonds fall into this catagory) and dont take certain aspects of placement and flow into mind. Dave told me straight up, if I was to get this certain art peice exactly where I wanted...it would end up not looking what I thought was perfect. I can say that I have received tattoos from other people and now im looking for cover up art :) Dave makes sure that you are going to be happy once it is permanent, not only on paper. After my back peice was finished I was in love !!! I have found my tattoo artist and shop for life. Thanks again for everything !!!

If you are need or want of a new or cover up tattoo... I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Tattoo in Renton, WA. The people who work there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their art. It is very clean and professional. I would like to recommend Jibo as your next tattoo artist. He has done 8 of my 11 tattoos. He is great! Always talks to you about your design.. where you want it, how you want it done, if you want color or shading.. If you want shading, HOW do you want it shaded.. and will give you examples. Things to think about that maybe you havent thought about so that your tattoo is exactly they way you want it to turn out. I have recommended several friends looking for new tattoos to him and they have all been very pleased with his work. I get many compliments on the pieces he as done for me, especially on my Clan Lindsay Family Badge, Swallows and Scottish Thistles he did for me. So, if you are looking for class place to get your tattoo work done, I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Tattoo & Body Piercing.. .and HIGHLY recommend Jibo for your artist.. You WONT be disappointed.

went in there for my first tattoo and the two artists in there were being totally rude and condescending, saying there was nothing cool about the flower tattoo that i was getting and that i was just a wannabe because i was getting a hibiscus (which i was getting because i am hawaiian and have family on oahu) the artist was just making it hard for me to enjoy my time there. he was then jabbing the needle so damn hard into my back that i couldnt concentrate and after it healed the color sucked and it came out blurry. i then went back for my second tattoo and it was a 30 min tattoo of very small butterflies and he asked me how much money i had on me and then proceeded in charging me that much! (100.00) who does that?! i was totally over charged! ive had to go to a different tattoo shop so they could add to this tattoo and make it look much better.

I had a list of several shops to check out for my new tattoo from Auburn to Renton, I’m only sorry I wasted time and started in Auburn, LOL. The first two that came with recommendations were awful, dirty & lacked professionalism. Diamond Tattoo is completely different. This is a GREAT shop, it’s clean, organized and friendly. I didn’t have any question about sanitation or health safety with getting a tattoo here. Jibo was great. He took time to really understand what I wanted and applied his amazing artistic talent to give me a tattoo that was better than I could have hoped for and at reasonable price.

I have spent the last few years of my life getting tattoos here and there, Dave B at Diamond tattoo is by far the best!!! I have seen alot of dirty little shops on the side of the road and this is NOT one of those. Everyone is super friendly and always nice. All of the artists there do great work! I tell all my friends about them and they all agree that this place is the best!!! No matter what style you are looking for, they will have an artist to fit your needs!!!! Also a plus, its way bigger than most shops out there, and have a cute retail section!!! LOVE THEM!!!!

Whatever you do! DO NOT GET ANYTHING PIERCED HERE! The piercer is Chris! Has no idea what he was doing! Went there to get my nipples pierced last night, and he pierced both with too short of a bar! After I told him TWICE! And the left is Crooked! Ending up going to another parlor for a loner bar! And the piercer there was in disbelief how swollen my nipples were and didnt understand why he used the shortest bar! And then he will tell you no soap, that way they can push you to buy a spray that you dont need! Very unprofessional! STAY AWAY!

I almost cried when I seen my tattoo, it is way beyond what I expected, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! What I really liked was Magentas creative input there was no pressure( I have had tattoo artists give their ideas and get attitude if i didnt go with it) not here and not with her, she is really funny and her staff is very friendly, when I left I knew this was my place,Thank you sooo much Magenta!(see ya in a few weeks to add the color) I could go on and on but I will end with this...with your idea and their creativity you cant go wrong!
