If you want someone who is extremely knowledgeable with piercings and with the healing process of your piercing, Zack would be my only recommendation. Zack has pierced: my nipples (twice), my traguses, my lobes, vertical lobe, and three microdermal anchors. Not once have I had a bad experience, and because of his skill and knowledge, along with the fact hes been piercing for so long, he is ALWAYS quick and precise, which equals minimal pain and discomfort. He honestly cares about the outcome of your piercing. Every time I have had a question about a piercing (I always have MANY) he is always happy to answer them and always suggests that I come in for a "check-up" if I am having any worries. Zack is probably the most experienced with surface piercings (surface bars and microdermals) in the Seattle area. Some videos on youtube of supposed "professional piercers" doing microdermals, along with experiences some of my friends have had are HORRIFYING! All three of my anchors were done (jewelery insertion and all) took less than ten seconds each and were no more painful than any other piercing, sometimes even less. Zacks portfolio is impressive as well. His prices are way more than fair. His jewelery is top of the line, best stuff you can get at any other shop in Seattle who charges even more. His room is pretty much OCD sterile. I am a dental assistant so I know all about the sterilization process and health hazards and what not. His practices put my dental office to shame. MUCH cleaner than your Dr or Dentists office. I dont know why everyone keeps saying the staff isnt friendly at Tattoo Evolution. Everyone has always been nice to me, a few of them even excited to see my piercings. I havent had a tattoo done at Tattoo Evolution, so I cant really comment on that aspect of the shop.

My tattoo artist, Brian, I think his name was, was new to the shop. I liked his style, and he seemed to understand what I wanted. I told him that my max was going to be $600 that day, but I still ended up paying $715. He hasnt responded to any of my attempts to discuss finishing my tattoo, and im not all that happy with how it has turned out so far. On paper, it was great, but I told him upfront that I didnt want it to have heavy lines, and that is what it consists of.... Another artist and the owner also got into a fight mid tattoo, and they did nothing to try to compensate for their unprofessional-ism. I feel overcharged and like they didnt respect me as a customer at all. I wont be returning, I dont want to get completely ripped off again, so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My first suggestion to anyone reading these reviews is that you need to go in there yourself. Everyones experience with every tattoo shop is unique. I myself had a pleasant experience. Im from Phx, Az visiting my buddy and we found this tat shop. I was able to walk in and start my tattoo. I worked with Paul whom I found very professional and talented. My buddy worked with Dave. They were really nice to us and took the time to do a good job. And pricing, they give you a quote before you start so its your own fault if you overpayed. One review made a comment about how they ignore you. Not true when I was there, they said hello and helped everyone that walked in. At worst they said they would be with them in a minutes. From what I saw I would say that I fully reccomend them.

I have had 3 pieces done at Tattoo Evolution. And it will be the only place I ever go for tattoos. Tom the owners ability to take your idea and put it into art is second to none. The shop is always clean and inviting. The staff there is friendly and courteous. This place makes the whole getting a tattoo experience pleasurable. Well as much as it can be. You can tell that Tom is dedicated to not only his work but to the art. And that same passion comes thru his artists as well. My wife and I will only ever go to Tom and the guys at Tattoo Evolution.

I just got my first tattoo here by Mikey and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience! I brought in my own sketch and it was turned into a true work of art on my skin. All the tools were brand new out of the packaging, the colors are vibrant, my lines are smooth and solid, and the shading is just amazing. Im very happy with my purchase and would definitely come back again. If you need anything done regarding flowers, go to Mikey! He is amazing! :) Thanks again!!

I was there prolley 2 weeks ago my bro got his tatt done there..the guy took long but it was worth the wait i rather them take their time & make perfection than make it quick & sloppy ya feel me?anyways i would honestly recomend this spot & im going there tomorrow well today hopefully to get my own masterpiece:D.so stoked..1in the mornin as im writing this lol

I know that the owner has won awards in new York and tattooed captain Phil from the deadliest catch and his sons. I dont know if the other artists have won awards but they sure as hell could. Im happy with my tattoos and have had them fix my first ones I had done at other places. Only go here. You wont be dissapointed.

I WENT HERE FOR A PIERCING AND THE GUY SCREWED IT UP. I WOKE UP WITH IT IN BEDDED IN MY SKIN. AND IT WAS ON MY FACE... HE PIERCED ME WITH A WRONG SIZE.. HOW WAS I TO KNOW WHAT SIZE AND WHERE I WANTED IT HE SAID NO.. STAFF THERE ARE RUDE AND ARE NOT WELCOMING..DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!

I went to Tattoo Evolution with my sisters recommendation and Im so glad I did! I was really really nervous but Zack did such a great job on my navel and I really had nothing to worry about! Take the time to listen to him...he knows what hes talking about.
