Best Wine Store in the Seattle Area! World of Wines is a GREAT wine shop and wine bar. The Allen Bechtel (owner along with his wife Kathy) is an expert wine professional and is extremely down to earth and friendly. No snooty wine people here! They have a great variety of wines, all of which they have personally tasted and can recommend based on your price range and what you like. Their prices are great, especially for the quality and knowledgeable help you get. The best part is they are just as friendly and nice if you buy a $10 bottle or a $100 bottle and they don’t try to push you into buying anything you don’t want to. They are truly there to help make your wine experience the best possible. They also have awesome wine tastings every Friday night. We love to go and taste 4-8 wines for $3 per person! I would highly recommend World of Wines for a newbie as much as for a wine connoisseur.

Very, very small place. I dont know how they pay the lease and stay in business, especially in this brutal economy. Despite being very small and having limited selections, the Italian wines they usually have are good, and surprisingly, their prices are not bad.

Nice place; very accommodating and unpretentious. They have frequent wine tastings of many WA wineries. We have discovered some excellent wines through the tastings. Prices are on-target, and they can order just about anything from WA wineries in just a few days.

Quite impressed with this small wine outlet. A well curated selection of wines from around the west coast and the world, using a nitrogen system to keep bottles theyre pouring very fresh. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
