Went here today for first time while visiting Puyallup, WA. I searched for a donut place, and the reviews were great. Pulling into the parking lot and walking in, you wouldnt think the place would be good. Its a small Asian run bakery. Im a well-loved Krispy Kreme fanatic, but I must say that this place was great. It has a small business, small town feel which is actually terrific. The girl/lady that helped me was quite nice, and patient while I made my choices. She was also cheerful, which set me at ease as a visitor. I got one chocolate filled pastry, one regular glazed, one twist (which Ive heard everyone raves about), a couple of doughnut holes, and one blueberry scone. The first thing I tried when I got back to my room was the twist. This thing is amazing! Its fresh and soft and slightly sweet from the glaze. The blueberry scone is huge and looked so appealing because you can tell they use real blueberries not just flavoring or chips. I didnt like the chocolate pastry, but thats more of a personal preference. Everything looks absolutely amazing and fresh. Ill try the scone next. And Im thinking of having my friend, whos a local resident, purchase me some twists regularly and have em shipped. Theyre delish!

I live just around the corner and had only been to this place once, late in the afternoon. The girl working there wasnt friendly and the selection was lame, so I never went back. HUGE mistake! I went back a few weeks ago to get donuts for my daughters class on her birthday, and the staff we extremely friendly, the donuts were fantastic, the atmosphere was bright and cheery. Ive been back several times since, and have decided they make the best apple fritters Ive ever had in my life! Seriously, these are some of the best donuts in town and they put Krispy Kreme to shame!

I may have arrived at a quiet time, but there was no wait, they were very fast and ready to help both me and another customer who came in at the same time. I got a dozen donuts which i believe to have a price matched by the donut type snd 10% off for a dozen. Mine came out clise to $12. This apple fritter is delicious. They had a good selection. Very friendly staff. Donut topped with coconut also delicious. I dont think i can eat the whole variety i got right now, but i expect they will all be delicious with the trend set so far.

National Donut Day 2014 @Happy Donuts in Puyallup. It is 5:30am. Line out the door! Great donuts, wonderful service. I dream about the maple bars. Today I wanted to share the happiness with co-workers in Seattle. Placed a couple dozen right next to some red boxes with the "other" donuts of the "Top" variety. Lets just say that It is 8:20am and all the Happy Donuts are gone. My co-workers were amazed at what fresh delicious donuts actually taste like. Now there is a red box cemetery in the break room, sad ....

Im a fan of doughnuts and have tried many places on the recommendation of friends and co-workers. Of course everyone who knows about Happy Donut only recommends Happy Donut. But as for the rest of the places, they dont even come close to the delicious freshness and friendly customer service you experience at Happy Donut. My personal favorites are the apple fritter and the blueberry cake but Ive probably tried them all and theyre all the best doughnuts Ive had. Plus they serve fresh locally roasted Dillanos coffee.

Been a loyal customer of happy donuts for the past 15 years. Theyre loyal to their clinets, have the best donuts in the country, and NEVER are short in quality. Best new favorite is the bacon maple bar. WOW! I dont think youll be upset with any donut you get here. Im waiting for them to make a powdered donut. If they did, it would be DELICIOUS. Donuts holes are free with the purchase of multiple donuts. I just love this place. No other donut Ive had can come close.

Ive recently discovered this place. I dont know of any donut shop in WA state that is better than this shop! Im surprised there arent more positive reviews about this place. I guess its just a big local secret. The donuts are always fresh, never greasy, never overfried and are perfectly flavored, fluffy and delicious! Go early for the best selection. If you wait until mid morning you might discover they are out of pretty much everything!

Best donuts in the Puyallup area and definitely in the top 3 of the South Sound. Their plain glaze is so light and airy but flavorful it kind of defies logic. Its the best yeast donut Ive had around here. Im not much of a fan of cake donuts but I could eat them by the dozen here. They are always slammed in the morning and run out so best to get here early for a spot in line. Service is friendly and fast. Has yet to disappoint.

I rarely treat myself to anything like donuts, but my goodness.... came to Happy Donuts and Im fighting the urge to go again. Tried a few different kinds, and there was one... oh man... so good I swear I saw angels. The raspberry filled donuts. I cant recommend this place more! Friendly, inexpensive, and DELICIOUS! (Also, always good to support small businesses!)

Best donuts HANDS DOWN !!! Just make sure you get there before 9 A.M. cause thats when they are fresh plus the morning commuters are mostly gone to work, so they dont make to much after 9 and its not as fresh. But theyre good as Hell. You know theyre good when just spent $93 like it was 20 dollars on just donuts.

Last time I was there, I was in a behavioral health group, getting ready to graduate from Good Samaritan mental health program. We walked there from our building to the shop. I remember I couldnt have very much sugar so I got an old fashioned cake donut and water. It was good for low income food.

Delicious donuts and coffee. I ordered an apple fritter, a maple bar, and a 12 oz caramel espresso drink . After tax and everything the total was 5 bucks! usually a coffee stand runs me more than that for the drink alone. The donuts were light yet flavorful! Will definitely return

Just want to say that the Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce loves Happy Donut, Jack and his staff are terrific, we enjoy their donuts regularly at our early morning meetings. They have been ranked number one restaurant in Puyallup on Trip Adviser for several years and rightly so.

Best apple fritters! Many kinds of donuts, but the fritters are my favorite. Get a drip coffee and you can add your own flavor syrup. The folks there are always friendly. They have a window that you can see in to the donuts being made too- pretty cool! Weekend mornings can be busy!

Best donut shop EVER, even with all the fancy over priced shops opening all over, Happy Donuts is still ranked #1 in our family & everyone I know!! Lines up still outside the door on weekend mornings, but its worth the wait which is always quick! These guys are amazing!!
