Isnt this store set up to help the poor and disabled? Well, my 40 year old obviously mentally disabled. low-incomed Cousin was in this store and was unknowingly caring around a $3.00 VHS movie and the clerk caught him as he was walking out the door. He offered to pay for it and told them he didnt know. It would be very obvious to anyone by looking to him, talking to him that he was born very mentally challenged. He gets Medicare and has since he was born and my Aunt is his caregiver as the state is out of homes to put him in. He became very distraught and cried hysterically and begged me not to tell my Aunt for fear she would be very angry. They would not accept the money and instead called the police and took him to court. The courts fined him $40, a reduced fine but still a burden on his very low income. Now he has a record that he did not need. Shame on this store. All I saw when I went into that store was filfth, high priced junk and a great big mess.

I like this shop, but I feel like some of the staff are judgey. When I check out, I feel like they treat me like I should be buying more or putting more in the donate jar. Just because I take care of my clothes and they are clean and Ive brushed my teeth and hair, doesnt mean I have extra money. Hello, Im shopping at a thrift store...Im disabled and have a very fixed income. A $10 trip to the thrift shop IS a splurge for me. Im not very active, so the clothing Ive been wearing for over 8 years, still looks nice. Ill try and find a crappier car to borrow to come down there, since I have no car or bike nor can afford a taxi. Please dont judge someone, because they might be in car they borrowed or took the time to look presentable. Im tired of feeling like I should have to look as poor and disabled as I am...yall dont know me!

Well, to be honest, if the deals werent so darn good, I wouldnt go here. Its, well, not the cleanest thrift store, but lets be honest-thrift stores are gross. They smell weird and people donate junk that the store is stuck with. I go in this thrift store often, though, as the inventory changes often and the employees there are really friendly. I especially love that they have a big craft/fabric section. I think Ive only walked out of that store empty handed one time. Usually I spend less than $10 and get all kinds of stuff! Im actually on my way down there right now! This St Vinnys is great and Ill keep going back to score great deals and help support their services in my community. Since discovering this thrift store, I never go into Goodwill anymore. Just a waste of time, now! I love St Vinnys!

I love shopping at this store. If i need something this is the first place that I come to. They have the best prices and are fare if an item has been there for a little while to re-negotiate a price! I an not sure why the last review said that the cashiers seemed "judgey" they NEVER have been that way to me, and never even mention the donations jar to put money in. I know the cashiers by name, they are all super friendly, always smiling. Nobody in this store had ever shown a rude or judging face to me. Great store. I will continue to not only donate, but also purchase form them over any of the other thrift stores in our area.

I really wish more people would donate here instead of Goodwill. Some things about this store are great. Its easy to get help. Most clothes are only $1, coats $4. Theyve started charging more for nicer things, too be expected. Still thrifty. They always cater to holidays: lots of Halloween stuff at Halloween; Christmas stuff at Christmas. The organization of the store makes sense. Well organized. They will hold large items for you 2 days.

A thrift store with an old vibe. Lots of older items and with the feel of being well picked through. By that, I feel most of their stuff is kept until its sold. Which results in a lot of stuff of little to no value. There are deals to be found, but in the numerous times Ive been there I rarely find anything of value. Especially when compared to the goodwill in town. Worth a visit, you might find something good.

Moved to a nice place right across from Christian Life Center. Between Bethal rd. and Michael dr. Bigger and alot of stuff to go thru. The people that run the place are so happy to be there and it has three time the area than the other. So your not cramped or knocking things over as you pass by the aisle. Nice to see them emprove and grow in the community.

Best prices around! They are NON PROFIT which makes it even better! You want glitz and glamor in the atmosphere? Go support the "for profit" guys along with their high prices. For me, this is the epitome of what a thrift store is. Nothing fancy. Just wonderfully low priced bargains, which you cant even find at garage sales anymore!

St Vincent de Paul does so much for the community. Incredible prices. They work with individuals in need of job training. They provide a place for special needs to work on their skill building. Not to mention help with so much more. (power, water, clothing, emergency food, homeless etc) Great organization.

The bathroom was horribly dirty and the smell was spreading to other parts of the store. The building was filled with tables piled with junk. It didnt look like an actual store with items neatly placed on shelves.

I love this place! Great deals and nice second hand items. Friendly staff and a punch card for 10$ off your next purchase! You can get a lot of great stuff for $10 at St. Vinneys

Not the best used stuff in town, but probably the best prices. I would check here for what you want first and then go to a bigger place like Goodwill if you cannot find it.
