Bad Experience!!!I have enjoyed shopping here for a better part of 10 years until yesterday. I had purchased $40. worth of items and was packing them up into one of the backpacks I just bought. I then put one my shoulder. A woman came in and said I had a my tank top tag out and she pushed it in. I thanked her. I had my service dog with me as well. As I walked out an employee came out and asked if I paid for everything, I said I paid for every thing. She said, okay, and went back into the store. next the cashier came out and said, "if your not going pay for that shirt you have on, you can not come back here again." I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I told her this is my shirt, and I did not steal it, I no way did I steal anything from them. I was really hurt by this, and humiliated. She said some woman saw a red tag on me. my guess is she saw the red tag on the back pack draped over my shoulder and assumed it was attached to my t top. I took all the stuff I had just purchased and put them on the floor at the cashier again, and insisted that they call the police and that they prove I stole this tank top from them, because what they were doing to me was down right wrong and mean! The manager then came out and attempted to calm me down, I am very upset by this time, with goodwill. I am somewhat a bargain hunter to a fault at time, and could easily spend 1000 over a year- just because I like it. But to be wrongfully accused and kicked of the store because some woman thinks she saw a tag oh please stop it, grow up, and for the record, after seeing your faces all those years, it is sad your just a bunch cold impersonal people who obviously knows none of the people that shop in your store. shame on you all!!!

So i came in today to find some boxing gloves and a gym bag, i actually found both and they were great! i then stood in line waiting for the slowest cashiers they have take there time, to then get to the front and be told that they no longer could price things at the register and it has to go back to production to get repriced and wont return till tomorrow as the tags had fallen off. mind you there were only signs at the register on the counter so i could not see them waiting in line for their slow cashiers. And im sorry your a thrift store not a department store so what if you have to take 5 extra seconds to price them i was actually going to pay for them but now its just better to steal them. As i wont find them tomorrow and your going to price them astronomically as you have the highest prices in the state for a thrift store. You have slow cashiers no floor help and the highest prices in the state.

We like the location of this Goodwill as its on Tacomas 6th Ave and convenient to everything. They keep their items and displays tidy and have frequent discounts. Donations may be made by driving up to the side of the store. Goodwill is a non-profit dedicated to making everyone employable, so I feel good about my donations and purchases. Also, theyre the ultimate recycler because everything they dont sell they attempt to put in the best recycling stream. In fact, you can bring in your torn and stained clothes and they will upcycle in them into rags! Note that this location is a bit smaller than other big Goodwills in the region.

They have some good stuff here. I made my most expensive purchase ever at a goodwill as they had an iJoy message chair. Those things usually run you 500 bucks for the lower end models. This one was only a few years old when checking out the model number and it Still worked great. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but it was worth it. They even helped carry it out to my car where it almost didnt fit. However I was determined to get that bad boy home. Aside from that there wasnt much used electronics here. Seems to be focused more on clothes and furnishings which everything Ive gotten the past few times were great.

Experienced thrifters take heed - this Goodwill is a gem. Huge, well organized selection even for mens clothes. Plenty of dressing rooms. For the most part, friendly staff (not concierge butt kissing, just simple customer service). Many large and small household items, and a sizable furniture section. While the prices are slightly elevated, the selection of high quality clothing and brand names makes up for it.

Very disappointed with furniture supply, especially after it got great kudos from friends in the area. I inquired as to when new delivery of furniture comes in, and was told mlby a nice clerk that it was based on donations as they come in. Unfortunately for me, i dont have the time to keep going back and forth for new items; if any, on a daily basis. Too bad.

Donation attendants were not exactly helpful. Several cars waiting to unload and decided to help by unloading my own small box into donation cart. The attendant told me that they couldnt accept anything if donater got out of vehicle and to read the sign (which was hid by the vehicles ahead). I decided to take my donation to Value Village.

The prices of gotten higher than what I remember. The holidays still have 50% off all donated apparel. The store gets a bit crowded at those times. The shoes arent worth going for.

Love how they separate household items in the clothes items. But a lot of misplaced items clothes in the wrong size would find Girl items in the boys section.

Staff wasnt openly friendly but when asked they would provide help. But make sure you compare prices and check the condition of the item you are purchasing

Its a typical goodwill, those this place smelled horrible. I had to leave due to the smell in the furniture area. Youd think they do something about it.

Love this place on Sundays and Monday. However sometimes they price their prices to high on clothing. Great place for furniture
