EXTREMELY SHODDY WORK- LOOK ELSEWHERE First of all, I seriously doubt that Lexi actually did all of the tattoos in "his" portfolio. The stellar work he put online was a main reason I chose his shop, but if you notice all of his pictures are against different backdrops and dont look like they were taken at the same location. When I went in for the consult he was extremely friendly and seemed to understand my vision, but when it came time to get the tattoo his whole demeanor changed. The sketch he made was much larger than what I asked for, and he seemed unwilling to change it. When he finally did reduce the size, the sketch looked a little incomplete. I brought this up to him and he said he would freehand the details, and that I should trust him. Big mistake. I should have trusted my intuition instead. A friend recommended him, and with that plus the non-refundable deposit I felt pressured to go along with it. He did the tattoo in 45 minutes and charged me for an hour. It looked rushed. Lines that should have been parallel were uneven. The shading was poorly done and wasnt even inside the lines. On top of that he was extremely rude. When I met him he said he plays a musical instrument from India. Sounded like an interesting guy with cool hobbies. Later, when I came in for the tattoo, I was with my girlfriend. Since shes from India, I asked him again what kind of music he plays. He responded "why dont you ask your girlfriend." It came off as a little awkward and confrontational. Maybe he was jealous? I dont know, but it was unpleasant. Later, he asked if she had any tattoos and she responded that she has one on her ribs. He asked to see it, but she politely declined by saying that its in a private spot. Then he asked her again after she had already refused. She had to say no twice. At one point he suggested that she take the needle and do a line of my tattoo. When I said Id rather not do that he scoffed like I was turning down a dare or something. I now have to go through the process of getting the tattoo covered up. Every artist Ive showed it to says it looks like the work of someone inexperienced. Theres no way that the same guy that did my tattoo couldve done all the work he shows online. This guy is not a skilled artist. Hes also rude, dishonest, and unreliable. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Scheduled a consultation with Bismarck. We talked a bit, and I guess it was a slow night because he told me to come back in an hour and hed do my tattoo for me. He took his time with the design I wanted and even took the time to test fit it on my arm. He admitted he drew it too big and asked if I could wait for him to make it a little smaller so it fit with my arm and my existing work. I was pleased that he was looking at the overall effect of his work on me, and not just pushing me through to make a buck. I left the coloring up to him, and he did not disappoint. He was super clean, opening fresh needles and changing his gloves often. If I wasnt moving away Id definitely be seeing Bismark some more. Awesome clean, professional shop.

While Lo and Behold Tattoo is a really cool shop with clean stations and interesting and beautiful decor, the highlight of my visit was getting art done by Stephanie Nuzzolilo. Shes incredibly talented, worked with what I wanted while giving her professional opinion, worked fast and gently. She is truly a star in the northern Washington area. Cant wait to come back up to the area and get more art from Stephanie!

Very clean shop. I had a tattoo done by Stephanie and she did an amazing job. Very, very reasonable for pricing. You do need a consult with your tattoo artist and $80 down to save your tattoo date, but it does go towards your tattoo.

After the initial shock of my newly inked arm, I am beginning to enjoy the work. Although it is not what I had envisioned the art is meaningful. I think that I will continue to visit this shop and make my expectations very clear.

My experience here was AMAZING! My tattoo artist was Stephanie and she did the most incredible space portrait of my puppy. Shes extremely, professional, friendly and talented, I cant wait to go back and get more ink done by her.
