Asked for a simple line work piece to accompany the tattoo I already had, and the artist accepted the job and drew something up for me, I suggested some changes and he seemed irritated at my suggestions, citing his artistic input as more important than what I wanted. I think the tension that resulted from that conversation resulted in the artist resenting me and this particular job....Resulted in a sloppy uneven peice that will be on me for ever, unfortunately. if you feel any tenseness or uneasiness about your interaction with an artist and their vision vs. yours, walk away, forget your deposit, let it go, dont try and appease them by giving them money and work that they neither want nor deserve

Unfortunately, when it comes to working with a professional artist, John Avanti is pretty awful, I had an appointment set with this guy and on the day of the appointment, 2 hours before he was supposed to tattoo me, he texts me saying "he cant make it, maybe next week" Ive never had a "professional" cancel the day of the appointment, when the appointment had been set for a few days. Trash service is what he offers, and Im a tattoo apprentice from out of state, WE NEVER TREAT OUR CLIENTS LIKE THAT, complete chump behavior and this guy clearly needs a different career, he isnt fulfilling this one very well.

Well I search all these reviews for my first tattoo, this place is amazing! I emailed Salem who emailed back and supported my idea, I then went into the shop (no appointment), Salem wasnt there but Feo was in and he helped me so much, real awesome guy! I sat on my side for around 2 and half hours and felt confortable the whole time, well thats a lie it hurt like hell but amazing place! Thanks for my first tat!
