I just got inked here a couple days ago. This is hands down the single best (and currently underrated) tattoo and art shop in Olympia. It is a privately owned and operated buisness by the owner out of his own house. It is a very clean, sanitary, private and intimate atmosphere. Very different from the hectic hustle of almost all downtown shops (and really most places in general) This guy is super friendly, down to earth, and knows exactly what he is doing. Like I said earlier when you come here you will get a very personal and one on one experience, including a free consultation beforehand. Additionally the shop features a wide array of unique canvas art all hand painted by the owner, and all currently for sale. This place has not been around long, but is soon to be one of the hottest spots in the area for tattoos and art. And with the personal atmosphere. And professionalism of this place. It is soon to be I think a very high volume space and you will likely have to be on a waiting list to get in. So go check it out now before it blows up.

Dave is the man hands down. He knows the art down to the T. This is the type of shop that when I first was looking for work to be done, was everything and more then expectations. The thing that really stood out to me when proposing art ideas is that he was very down to earth and easy to talk to when it came to details of the work and took it very professionally. I have gotten a half sleeve from him so far and plan on having him take care of anything else I can conjure from here on out. The closer and my favorite part about having Dave as my artist is that he operates and tattoos from his very sanitary, tidy, and profesonally setup shop out back. The idea of walking into a business or major shop is that you really dont feel like your their main priority, or you sit down in the chair only to be rushed to the next client. Dave makes the experience personal and memorable the way it should be! If youre on the fence about where to go for your next piece I would highly recommend at least giving this man a call!

I drove down from Oak Harbor( approx. 3 hrs). It was well worth the drive! I happened to stumble across Dozs old website a few years back while looking for tattoo ideas. It was so eclectic. A mixture of art, ideas, life experiences, and of course... tattoos. Ive followed him with the idea that Id eventually get a tattoo. I finally had an idea of what I wanted, emailed him, and he ran with it! Very clean shop!!! He is a really great artist!!! My tattoo is perfect, absolutely beautiful! Would make the drive again in a heartbeat.

Best tattoo place! Such a great environment! David made the tattoo experience great too! he went through the steps of what he was doing and made me at ease for my tattoo. Highly recommend Doz for your next tattoo. He demonstrated years of knowledge and professionalism while also being hospitable, easy-going, and respectful. Plus, he genuinely cares for how you envision your tattoo(s) and devotes his time to you. I have received a total of four tattoos from Doz and am pleased with all of them.
