I have shopped at this location for years. After getting a new puppy and ready to transition from puppy food to adult food, I gave the store a 2 month heads up that they will need to start carrying the food for the specific breed again. I then went in last week to see if they had got it in yet. They had not, but was going to order it. I just went in tonight and they had not even ordered it and said that they would order it tonight. I then went home and called the other location that is close to find out who the district manger was and that person had no idea who it was or how to get a hold of anyone that would know. I question how a business with many locations can run when the employees do not know any chain of command. I was told to call back in the morning and the store manager, Wes will know "Whos who in the zoo". No wonder why this company is losing business.

They arent as knowledgeable about their products as other pet stores, but the girl that helped me gave me the option to bring the item purchased back if it didnt work out. Not sure if they would actually take it back, but the option was there. On the bad side, the woman who is there almost every night at the register seems either racist or she has a consistently bad attitude about being there. Either way, I hope whatever shes going through, she gets through it. She practically threw the money in my hand like she didnt want to touch me and I felt a little down about it at first, but then I realized that not everyone will be happy and not everyone will be accepting of you or whatever the case may be. Hope they get it together though. My rabbit loves the food there and the location is convenient to my house so I will continue to shop there.

Sorry but to anyone who bitches about retail clearly has never worked in retail and feels that everything should be handed to them just because they ask. theres not a big fish food selection because its still a family owned business with only 24 stores. Not very big. And sorry that your dog is a picky eater. If your dog is gonna eat cheap ass food from safeway then buy it. Anyways I love this place. I love the staff and they always recommend the best food and toys for my little kitties :)

Well if you want over priced pet food that my dogs wont eat, and a condescending staff shop here. I have walked into this store many many times and just walked out. Yeah they do have high quality dog food, but if you should dare suggest that you gave your dog something they dont have on their shelves, well you are just like dirt.. or so they make your feel. They also have a terrible fish section. They are super close to me, so I try to go there, but just a terrible location.

My recent experiences over the past 6 months or so, have all been positive. I dont know what changed from a couple years ago, but now the staff seem much friendlier as well as knowledgeable about their products. I shop there much more frequently now, and nearly all the staff are friendly and helpful. Plus, I get excellent rewards on multiple purchases!

Good products and awesome service. Prices are a little high, but thats what you would expect from a smaller shop, so Im fine with it. They carry a pretty big stock of fancy organic cat food, treats, toys, etc. Ill be shopping here again.

I just went there to get some Orijen dog food but didnt see any on the shelf so I asked but no one was willing to check in back on the pallet to sell me one. Really, $100 bag of food. Probably not going back there anytime soon!

The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. Its a tad pricey, but nothing I dont expect from high quality food. I have never had a bad experience in the near year Ive been shopping there.
