Love Discount Pet World on Clement because they are one of only a few pet stores in SF who carry Primal raw canine & feline foods in their refrigerator. As a pet care professional, I highly recommend everyone do thorough research regarding kibble/dry foods & bargain basement wet foods. Youll appreciate a long healthy life when feeding a species appropriate diet. Better coats, no "kibble eye snot", less smelly poop. Yes, its more expensive but pay now feeding healthy or pay later to traumatic vet visits when your elder pets get ill. If you cant take the time to prepare a raw fresh diet, then please buy Primal. Do your homework on switching foods as well. Mix in a smidge at first then slowly take out a spoonful of prior foods & add in Primal. Theres a farmers market on Sundays til 3 & meters on Clement are pricey so side streets are a better bet. Call ahead to see if they have the flavor you want. Its in the refrigerator. Even though I had been purchasing from this store, I stopped for two reasons- first I was told the food I wanted wasnt being made anymore but when I checked online that wasnt the case, and then, when I wanted to exchange a bag of unopened cat food that was purchased for my older cat who had died, for a bag appropriate for my newly adopted young cat this request was rejected. I donated the unopened bag to the SPCA and take my business anywhere else.

A wonderful place to shop for pet food and supplies besides the very good prices, great atmosphere and knowledgable help Wayne is a very conscientious person who cares about pets and their owners. I always look forward to my trips there. I could not be more enthusiastic about a business

Best prices for Taste of the Wild 30-lb bags (less than $40) compared to online prices & all the other pet stores in the Bay Area. Its definitely quite a drive from my house, but if I happen to be in SF I keep coming back for more! Its cheaper if you pay in cash.

This spot has the cheapest-costing dog food, hands-down. Ive done the research and compared it to places like Petfood Express and PetCo, and this place wins hands-down. Plus they have awesome dog jerseys for the Giants, Warriors, and Niners.
