Two months ago I visited your store in Kent. The address is 26209 104th Avenue SE Kent, WA 98030. The staff was help full and I purchased a large container of large super worms and a container of wax worms. These were to feed my jeweled lacerta that I purchased from your Federal Way store about 8-12 months ago. I spent close to $500 on the complete set up and initial investment. Since then I visit your stores almost weekly for feeders and misc equip for my lizard. The worms I brought home were nearly all dead. At most half were alive. I was annoyed but since it was only $10 I thought I would let it pass as a fluke. I visited again last Saturday. I opened the containers this time. To say I was disgusted is an understatement. I looked in every container of every type of worm you had on the shelf. ALL 100% dead. The calciworms had been there so long they had turned to flies and subsequently you were selling a container of dead flies not even worms. I showed the staff the superworms and he said " oh they just turned into beetles, completely normal". He clearly knows nothing about supers because they do not turn to beetles unless they are isolated. Never will they turn into beetles in a container full of worms. I made him open the container, smell it and explain the pile of black wretched smelling worms on top. He did so and then said "im not in charge of counting them and its probably been a while since someone has". He then walked away. I dont think I will be returning.

I had a few items my daughter bought a few weeks and and they were the wrong items. So I tried to return today and I didnt have the receipt anymore. Return policy says no-hassle return. However that was not my case. They refused and I even asked if I could just get a gift card. Was not trying to get my money. Manager was rude to the young man helping me. I will never go to that store again. Felt sorry for anyone that has to work for that manager.

My saviors! My ex-groomers(petcos competitors) called the day of my cats grooming appt an hour before saying the groomer canceled. Ugh its really hard to find a groomer to bathe and shave 2 damn cats. I had this appt for weeks! So after calling 8 places they were really nice and fit me in a couple of days later instead a month later like the other places. My allergies thank you.

I got a little baby leopard gecko morph from there. Didnt like the lady who sold em to us trying to pressure us into buying more than needed. We got what WAS needed and nothing more, but she could have fooled or broken some one with less knowledge on lizards. Not cool, but I get it, capitalism at its best.

I will never support this Petco, ever. I witnessed a young woman grooming a dog that was simply terrified: Instead of reassuring it, she smacked and shoved the poor animal, forcing it into quivering submission. Do not leave your animals here: Make sure you WATCH your groomer.

Didnt have any hamsters. Finding an employee to help is impossible. The only way to talk to an employee was to wait in the checkout line.
