Hello I wanted to tell everyone here that I have run into the same problem with this company. My wife and I just recently moved to the state of Washington from Rhode Island. We found MOR Furniture and chose a dining room set and living room set from them over $7k the sales person (Nadir) was a smooth talker a typical salesman who told us that if we had any problems with the furniture that we could return it no problem and that they stood behind the product and the quality. Well the furniture arrived and it was too big for the room and this was not even all the furniture because some of it was not in stock. Two of the lamps that we purchased did not even work and they cost around 230.00. GREAT QUALITY???? My wife attempted to call Nadir about a dozen times he was the salesperson that we dealt with, and she even went into the store to see him and they told her he would not be back until Thursday. We went to the store the day he was suppose to be back and was told by his sales partner Adrian who was very rude and told us that all sales are final then walked away and got on the phone leaving us there. We waited around for him to try and work this out but he continued on the phone and we finally left after about and hour. He finally called me almost two hours later on the phone asking me where I was if I was still in the Showroom because he was looking for us. This guy left us sitting there with a 15-month-old baby waiting for him while he was on the phone. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We werent even looking to get our money back all we wanted to do is exchange it for another set something that would fit in our home and be safer for our child to maneuver around. I also wrote and email to the CEO, managers etc anyone that I could find to try and get help and still nothing. In my email I explained what the next step would be and that is to file a complaint with the State Attorney General and even go to court if I have to. I have already filed a complaint with the Attorney General and they are looking into it. I encourage anyone who has been in the same or similar situation should do the same it does not cost anything but I feel that others should not go through the same thing we did. I hope this will help and encourage others. This company lies and sells low quality furniture. I have never dealt with this kind of sales gimmicks my entire life. Nadir by the way still has not attempted to call us. Thank you MOR Furniture!! I hope you go out of business, because Americans work hard and deserve better customer service and product. Oh yeah I especially appreciate this as a Veteran just coming to start a new life here in Washington State with my family. MOR furniture you dont even deserve the one star that I gave you but I had no choice I had to do it so I could post this.

My fiance and I just moved into a new apartment and spend a good few weeks searching for a place that sold quality furniture for our meager college grad/Army budget. We bought our couch from Mor after a lot of searching and are happy with the sectional we bought for only $899. Heres a rundown on the Pros and Cons: Pros: - Open late. If you work full-time on weekdays like us and arent within the Kent vicinity, its nice to be able to go somewhere thats open until 9pm on weekdays. - Super friendly staff - A LOT of options. We were kind of overwhelmed with how stocked this place was. Were definitely going back if we find ourselves needing more pieces to add to the place. - Totally affordable. I cant stress that enough. Take advantage of their unbeatable deals, because we saw a bedroom set we purchased from National furniture for about $100 less at Mor. Fortunately, Mor guarantees a price match in case you find a lower deal somewhere else. Cons: - Expensive accessories. They awful art and centerpieces are pretty pricey. I would just go next door to Ikea to get some smaller pieces. - They use DOS computers. Not that its my problem, but what an outdated system to be computing information on. Which is possibly responsible for the following cons… - It was expected that we would get a phone call the night before delivery that would confirm a delivery date and provide us with time frames that we can choose to have those items delivered. I had to call Mor in Kent and speak to a representative to ask about our delivery. Not everyone is home 24/7 waiting for their furniture. - We also agreed that a rug we purchased from Mor that was on back order could be picked up whenever it arrived at the store. No big deal, we could make a trip there when its convenient. We also didnt want to pay another $99 for Mor to deliver a rug. However, we kept getting the automated delivery phone calls about the rug that we never got with the prior couch delivery telling us that the rug would be arriving at a time neither of us would be home. Our landlord was burdened by a huge delivery truck coming by to just drop off a rug when it was agreed that we would pick it up. Bottom line: Get a friend with a big truck to pick up and deliver your stuff. Its cheaper and less of a hassle than dealing with the miscommunication thats going on at Mor with their delivery people. It will hurt their business if potential customers see bad reviews for a place that actually offers good furniture. I hope they upgrade to Windows and a printer that isnt older than some of its customers for that sake.

Hurry in to our Black Friday sale today to get 21% off with a minimum purchase of only $1299!!! Or skip the crowds and come in tomorrow before 1:00pm to get the same 21% off! The earlier you shop, the more you save! This is a bunch of garbage! I was told this by a Mors salesman in Kent,Wa. on Wednesday 11/21/2012. I was assured that I would still get the 21% off for the Black Friday deal instead of making another trip to make my purchase. I took him at his word and bought the furniture for $2307.40, guess what? it never got honored. My suggestion is that if you are reading this STAY AWAY FROM MOR FURNITURE because we looked them up before the purchase and we saw that they had a history of this kind of thing but since the salesman was so convincing saying that "I would never do that to anyone" and "I promise you that I will put in the discount as soon as the BLACK FRIDAY sale hits".We believed him and made the purchase. As you can see, they cannot be trusted so if you are reading this, it is not by mistake. Go and make a purchase elsewhere because I will never buy anything from them again after the service I recieved from them. What ever happened to customer service? I will tell everyone I know, including the BBB how terrible my experience was with them. I even have their manager on a voicemail message saying that I would get 10% off of the purchase, but I didnt get it. Another manager said that the store wasnt going to give me the deal because the furniture was already marked down. Really? well all of the furniture that I saw that was marked down had a sign saying so but the leather sectional that I purchased was full price! It was labeled at $1999.00 with no other mark down sign on it. I paid $2307.40 out the door. In the expectation of having $200.00 off and 21% off for th BLACK FRIDAY sale. I asked the manager to bring the guy who sold me the furniture to the phone so I could get him to verify our agreement on the purchase but I was told that he was off for the day after originally being told that he was there. There are even more negative things that I could write about MOR but I think Ive gotten my point across. If I havent then I hope that if you do buy something from them and make a deal, GET IT IN WRITING!
