Poor communication and service. These people flat out lied to me about my contract, my phone, and a tablet. And when I had concerns and politely asked how something can turn out so wrong when the sales man was so clear, they told me I was out of luck. The man that tried to help me today was nice, but ultimately it comes down to the managers- that werent willing to help at all. I have had Verizon for years and have been happy with it, but when my phone finally died I went in to pay for a new one outright. My previous Verizon plan was great for me, It was enough data, talk, and messaging and was the same price every month. A sales associate told me that I did not have to buy the phone outright, that it was free if I signed up for a new 2 year contract. I would have 6GB data instead of 2, but everything else was the same and it would be the same price as my current contract. I signed up! They also had a "special" where I could get a tablet for $30. It would "add a line" to my account but there would be absolutely no charge for it. $30 and thats it. So after my initial large bill, my "normal" bill came in and surprise! It was $50 more a month then my previous contract. Thats now $150/month for my phone. Come to find out, the phone wasnt free with the new contract, it was in fact financed (pay more long term) so I just didnt have to pay for it that day (which wasnt problem for me) so Im paying $36/month to have it. Also, the tablet that was supposed to be free for my use after the initial $30 was actually $11/month. I called into Verizon customer service and they said I had to take it up with the store. I go into the store and they tell me sorry, nothing they can do. They would be willing to take back the tablet with a $70 "restocking fee" but that was it. So I paid over $100 for a tablet I used twice and Im paying $1200 more then I was for basically the same service (since I never even came close to using the 2GB in the first place. There are other stores to take your money to- these people are liars.

I ahave been a Verizon customer for well over 12 years. The customer service in this store is TErriBle! On numerous occasions, thinking I would simply have to tough it out...I entered my name and others were called before me...I asked "WHY?" and was told that sales customers have higher priorty than technical issues....I told the manager and she could have cared less..so obviously that is the policy....another time I was upgrading my sons phone when the upgrade finally became available and asked to be credited for the phone that I paid for and did not work, and the dead phone, according to Verizon could not be fixed....and the store manager told me my son probably just enterd some secret code....my son was standing there with me...he is 17 yo...and we both looked at the manager like we were being punked....finally I walked out....my son was unhappy because he still had a non working phone....as a whim we went to the Costco store, Issaquah to the cell phone multi manufaturer kiosk.. I never used them before because I simply thought that as an OEM I would do better at the Verizon compnay store. Low and behold...the Costco kiosk could directly access my Verizn account, the SAME telephone my son wanted was $20 less AND Costco includes the accessory pack..Verizons price was an additional $40 for the accesories AND Costco extended the warrenty. I was happy that all went sooooo smothly and really mad that I could have been buying all the Verizon produsts and services for less all these years....Buyer be aware...there are substantioally better prices and appropriatly better service than at the Verizon Gilman Blvd Issaquah store!

These people wasted hours of my time and theirs with the HUM device. I went in to buy a device I could listen to audio book from my phone to a car speaker. I bought a Jabra which worked reasonably well, but was hard to hear in freeway traffic. Supposedly you could use it with FM frequency through your car speaker but it would never pair to the frequency that was recommended (88.3) So I went for advice, and they said what I needed was a HUM device, which took hours to charge, time driving around for 20 minutes to pair with the car, and then never worked. I talked to support three times that night. I went back to the store to try to get the Jabra back and all they wanted to do for me was to exchange for another HUM. So we went through the whole charging and pairing with the car a second time and finally they got the specialist involved and he said THE HUM DEVICE DOES NOT WORK WITH THE AUDIO BOOKS FROM YOUR PHONE! That was my whole reason to purchase a device in the first place. They need to 1) teach the sales associated to listen to the customer 2) know their products that will fit that need. I would zero stars if I could.

Worst VZW location Ive been to in my 6 years as a customer. I brought in a wall charger I got 2.5 months ago after noticing some exposed fibers at the joint. Nobody at the front greeted me when I walked in, even though there were 2 employees standing right next to the front door. They just looked at me from the corners of their eyes while playing with their phones. It was hard to tell who was an employee since nearly all of them were wearing jeans and football jerseys--not Verizon branded uniforms. I went up to the counter for help from the one person not wearing a jersey and was told by her and her coworker that the warranty was void due to "physical damage". I briefly explained that I did not cause the damage but that it was due to the items poor construction. I didnt contest their policy any further but was shocked when the male worker then started aggressively bending my charger back and forth as if to demonstrate what must have happened. This caused even further damage and fraying to my charger cable and I had to tell him "Please dont damage it any further!" before walking out of the store with no success.

THIS STORE IS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME. DO NOT BOTHER GOING IN UNLESS YOU ARE CLUELESS ABOUT PHONES AND HAVE MULTIPLE HOURS TO WASTE. Once again, this store has out done themselves by providing the worst service Ive ever experienced. Even if you know what you want and just want to get in and out with your new phone no hassle you can forget about it. I think they have system where they make you wait for nothing just so you look at the displays while 5 other employees stand around doing nothing. On 3 separate occasions Ive wasted at least an hour and got nothing for it. This last time I was waiting for about 30min when i asked how much longer my wait was, i was told another 20 to 30 min. I told the gentlemen at the door that i was gonna go across the street and grab a coffee. I was gone for 10 minutes, came back and found out my name wasnt on the list followed by a snarky "thats what happens when you leave" comment. Needless to say i will NEVER WASTE MY TIME IN ANOTHER VERIZON STORE AGAIN. YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING ONLINE OR FROM A THIRD PARTY RETAILER BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY WONT JERK YOU AROUND LIKE AN IDIOT.
