So a couple hours ago my buddies and I (we are High school kids and we are all minorities) went over to QFC to buy some juice to drink and cool down on a really hot day. So we sit on the small dining area finishing our soft drinks, and an elderly man specifically asked me to keep an eye out over his novel since he was about to do his groceries. I politely promised him I would do so, so we ended up sitting for about 10 minutes waiting for the man to claim his book. As we waited, a friend of ours who happens to be an on-duty courtesy clerk at the QFC walked over to us and began multi-tasking, by cleaning the mess left by other people (at the dining area) and talking to us. A manager of QFC saw us talking to him so she began b****ing him (the worker friend) out for not doing his job properly. While I understand we were fully responsible for providing distraction to our friend, this wasnt the bottom line. So the crusty female manager of QFC began walking toward us and asked us what we were doing in the most hostile tone. We calmly told her we were "chillin" and she replied by saying this area was NOT for "chillin" and in fact should not be "treated as a lounge" (quoting the manager). We tell her we are finishing our drinks and she proceeds to tell us that we shouldnt be here for a long time (NOTE: it has only been about 10 minutes since we entered and behind us was a male caucasian adult doing work on his laptop and he has been in the same dining area since we first walked in the store). I tell her I was watching over a mans book at the table next to us and the manager snapped at me telling me to not speak to her "like that [tone]" (me: speak like what?). Instead of saying what I wanted to say, I politely apologize, and she goes on to tell us that if we dont leave, she will call the cops on us for trespassing. The situation for us felt uncomfortable since I am Japanese and my friends who were with me were Mexican, Thai, and Swedish... I hate to jump into conclusions but this is racist material, and it is frustrating that all I could do is sit here on my laptop make a crazy rant over a minimum wage worker, on a review page that only 5 people read every year...

It is indeed the slowest pharmacy that have ever dealt with! Every time when I need to take a prescription from this pharmacy, and unfortunately I have to take some prescriptions, I am stunned by how slow the employees are responding. In addition of this they do make mistakes, because they do not check the fax/ or refills from the doctors just "from time to time". Sometimes I have to drive to Fred Mayer and other pharmacies to pick up my prescriptions just because I do not want to deal with this personal, even I usually do my shopping in QFC. Dear QFC Pharmacy owner, Please do something, this is not possible to continue in this way. Please try to send someone to pick up a prescription from there and see how long it takes. It is amazing! It really looks that the time stopped at this pharmacy. This is not normal! Thanks!

The Gilman "Pharmacy Team" to include the two most AMAZING Pharmacist - Anna & Faith are just absolutely the two most knowledgeable and caring Pharmacist I have ever dealt with. I notice how other reviews claims how "slow" this Pharmacy is. Im compelled to rebuff that statement by simply stating that the staff here take the needed time with each individual giving all the attention needed so that each patient/customer walks out well informed about their respective medication(s). Would you wanna be rushed through like other Pharmacies would with regards to any medication questions and/or concerns? Not I, I want full disclosures and some caring advice which you would certainly get with the amazing staff at the QFC Gilman Issaquah team......Christine Curtis!

9/19/2015 - Walking out of the QFC on GilmanRd, Seeing Angela Bagaas (QFC Employee), taking the time to help an elderly lady. She just didnt help she went beyond, going into the store and getting an motorized shopping scooter.Im not sure if this is part of her job, but seeing the elderly lady face made my day. Not just because she was happy, but seeing Angela Bagaas helping this stanger. I know if that was my grandma or mother, I would be doing more than just thanking Angela. Two thumbs up for this store location.

Very slow. There is not a whole lot of foot traffic here, but the employees are very slow.
