I live in Everett, so I kind of found these guys by chance. Ive heard their commercials on the radio, but the closest Ive ever been to Issaquah before this was passing it on the freeway on my way to Eastern Washington. I was looking to trade in my Fiat- I knew I was upside down, but wasnt sure what my trade-in offer would be, so I didnt know by how much officially, but I knew it would be about $5-6k. I entered my info into KBB to get an offer; the car had to be inspected, though. It referred me to Evergreen (I think because of a link I had followed off of Google). The next morning I got a call from Scott Mabry, the Internet sales manager. He left a voicemail saying he read over the description of my situation and he wanted to help. The thing that caught my attention was he said "full transparency". (Ive been hosed on previous buying experiences, so I was a little gun shy this round). I decided to give them a shot, with the mind-set that I was just going to get an offer and maybe mull it over for a few days. These guys were awesome. They made me feel very welcome from the start- but not in the fake we-see-you-as-a-walking-dollar-sign way that I usually run into. I never felt pressured was the big thing. I never once had to repeatedly say "no" to get my point across. In fact, a half shrug and an "ehhhh..." was enough to move on to the next thing. I wasnt sure what kind of car I was looking for; Id been considering maybe a Civic or Accord based on the reputations. I wanted reliability and something with a really good warranty, but I was pretty open to suggestions. Scott showed me a Focus in my (which I honestly hadnt even considered). It was in my price range, and had several rebates available that would help negate my trade-in balance on the Fiat. He said the Focus was a great car (he owns two) and asked if I wanted to drive it, or if I wanted to see other stock. I figured it wouldnt hurt anything to try it. I was really comfortable, rode smooth, and had minimal road noise. (Fiats are very loud if youve never been in one). It had fun gadgets like back-up camera, digital dash with active mpg/estimated miles in tank, sport shift automatic, dual climate control. Everything is easy to get to, lots of leg room (front and back). The back seats fold down flat in case I need to haul anything. He explained how the fuel save feature on the car works (it turns off when you idle; weird at first) and explained all of the buttons. Then they told me that Ford runs a promo in August for an extended warranty (100,000 miles or as long as you are making payments, whichever runs out first). You have $100 deductible is all, and you can take it to any Ford shop and it is honored. To me, that was huge. I gave them approval to run all of the paperwork, and I had to hang out for a little while, they offered me the customer lounge to hang in while I waited (I declined and stayed in the office cuz Im silly- Id recommend the couch; their chairs get a little hard after a while) :) The paperwork was smooth and painless. Everything was explained to me very well, and I think this is the first time I saw the actual breakdown of exactly what I was paying, what was financed and how, etc. They brought my new car around, freshly washed and vacuumed, with a full tank of gas. Scott helped me transfer my stuff from the Fiat to the Focus and I was ready to go. He told me if I ever needed anything to call him, that his cell number was on his card. Id recommend them any time. TL;DR: Buy from these guys. Theyre awesome!!

Horrible Experience! they sold me a 98 corolla and two days later the oil light went off so i took it into a shop and found out that they had sold me a car with worn out piston rings. i called david joner up because he gave me this long speech about how if i was disappointed in the car i could bring it back and they would help me out. he had a diagnostic done and they found out that the piston rings were in fact worn out. he told me that they would trade it in the following week. i went in and he had two cars lined up for a test drive. the first one was a 02 pontiac grand am which is notorious for having a lot of engine problems, and a 95 oldsmobile aurora which was going to need a tune up in a couple months, and theyre really hard to work on. i decided that i would trade for the lesser of two evils, the 95 oldsmobile aurora. david joner and i went into his office to discuss numbers, and he wanted 2,000 dollars more after the trade in. i then looked at kelly blue book and saw that that was 2,500 dollars more than the kbb price, and i asked him why it was so high, and david joner asked me if i would believe a computer or a person. so then i looked up that car on auto trader to see what other people were selling the same car for. on the top of the list was the exact car that i just test drove from evergreen ford, and they were actually selling it online for 1,000 dollars less than what he tried to sell it to me for. he finally knocked down the price but still, i wasnt looking to spend another 1,000 dollars on something thats going to give me more problems. according to kelly blue book, after the trade i should have gotten 500 dollars back if anything, but at this point i was willing to cut that loss and make it an even trade, but he wouldnt budge and he told me that it was in my best interest to pay him that extra 1,000 dollars to him. long story short im going to have to put a new engine in it, and evergreen ford is not willing to help even though this car should not have even been on their lot. theyll give you a speech on how big of a dealership they are so they cant get away with selling lemons, but they do it anyway. theyll also tell you that if you buy a car from them, youre in the evergreen ford family, and they will treat you like a family member from there on. and david joner gave me another speech about how hes been doing this for 20+ years and how his stupid ring that says evergreen ford on it means that hes one of the best salesmen, and that hed never sell a lemon even though he just did. he also mentioned that he had one of the best mechanic team in the usa, but somehow they didnt the major engine problem. i would never go back to these freaks, and i am spreading the news to anyone and everyone about how evergreen ford will rip you off.

I never thought I would be writing a bad review ...but...I feel that my experience at Evergreen Ford needs to be shared. I have purchased at least 2 cars from them in the past. My wife and I went to the dealership this past weekend to look at the new Fusion Energi. Arcus was our sales guy and he was spectacular. He was very attentive, courteous and made sure we were comfortable during the long process that car buying has become today. A little background because it is important to the story. Both my wife and I have respectable credit scores in the mid 700s and that is achieved because we dont just allow anyone to run our credit for grins and giggles. As soon as we had negotiated the final price, they ran our credit and lined up the financing. No problems on our end....like I said... we are solid....but this is where the typical car salesman games started. RED FLAG #1: AFTER we had agreed on a price, the sales manager comes back to tell us they had to increase the price $1,000 because they forgot to adjust for a rebate not available. After a bit they say they will share the cost of the error 700 for me 300 for them. I was ok with that....the car impressed my wife enough that 700 was not going to ruin the deal. RED FLAG #2 They wanted me to sign all kinds indemnification forms that protect the dealer. I told them I was not interested in signing anything that did not benefit me. We went into sign the paperwork and sat down with the finance manager. When the sales guy told him we would not sign the forms, the Finance Manager told us we had to. I told him I did not. Then he became rude and verbally abusive making me and my wife very uncomfortable. After just a few minutes of him berating us, I stood up and told him I had enough and we walked out. RED FALG #3 I walked over to speak with the General Manager to explain I didnt appreciate the way we were being treated by his finance manager and to ask why I needed to sign the forms and his reply was "If you want to buy a car from us.. then you need to sign the forms". Well, that was it. I was done. We left immediately. Now in all fairness, when the four or five sales managers and sales people tried to accost us while trying to leave the parking lot, I may have let loose a few "F" bombs...I was very hot. I did however quickly apologized for the language. So, to summarize.... They played with the pricing AFTER we had agreed on a price Finance Manager was rude and berating General Manager was rude and callous Arcus the sales guy was the only positive in the entire experience. They have lost a very good customer and they have lost out on all my friends and family because I will tell everyone not to visit Evergreen Ford.
