Boyko Motors is the place to go if you are looking for a pre-owned import. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. I bought a 2005 WRX STi with a rebuilt title on 8 August 2015. At first I was hesitant to look at the car as rebuilt titles could range from totalled to flood damage. However, the title on the carfax which they provided me revealed the title was labeled rebuilt in Illinois. Illinois only requires the vehicle to incur damage equal to 33% of the market value to be considered totalled. Not only did our salesman David provide me with pictures of what the vehicle looked like after the collision from the auction, he let me take the vehicle to get inspected from a third party. Although the car was being sold "as is", the right brake light was not working, the radio would not turn on, and the a/c was malfunctioning. The same day I purchased the vehicle, the brake light bulb was replaced and the radio was fixed free of charge. The a/c would have been fixed the same day but we had already been there for some time. Graciously, the owner Leo asked us where we lived and insisted we take the vehicle to a local mechanic. Although it would cost him more, our satisfaction was more important to him. I was not able to bring in the vehicle until later that week and the local mechanic informed me that nobody from Boyko Motors had left their information. I called David on his personal cell phone to inform him of the issue. To my dismay, David was not working that day, but he frantically found someone who was and paid for the repair in full. The vehicle I purchased was priced accordingly to KBB and they were generous with a trade in offer for my 07 VW GTI. The transaction went smooth with no hiccups at all. David was fair and courteous. I did not feel rushed or like I was being pressured. I highly recommend Boyko Motors if you are looking for a pre owned import or non-import. I will definately keep this place in mind for the future.

Dissappointed. We looked around for a good place to buy a car and Boyko fit the bill. It had good reviews and the car I wanted at a good price We arrived, got great prompt service and they were even honest about the accident the car had been in. The car was labeled as having a clear title. We asked for a car history, but we got to chatting and it wasnt given to us, (and this was my fault for not pushing.) Later that night we pulled up the Carfax so I could have a copy and bam...salvaged title. I was really bummed. I had my partner take the car back the next day.I purposely sought a car with a clean title for resale purposes. Leo was good enough to take the car back. According to my legal council he was obligated to. Leo said he would put the check in the mail to my bank. That was on November 27. On December 3, I called my bank andthey hadnt received any check. I called Leo. Hehadnt even cut the check! I asked that he fax me a copy of the check as I was getting concerned. The fax took three hours to come through. I waited a week and called the bank again. No check. I called Leo again, expressing that I was frustrated and felt disrespected. I even had the bank call. The next day the check went through. I called Leo to thank him and wish him luck. No harm no foul right? Leo called me back saying he felt disrespected. That phone call prompted this review. Excuse me sir, but you lied about a title, you cashed my check the same day I wrote it, but it took you five days to get my refund in the mail? I have no expectation that you work on Thanksgiving and Ill give you a weekend without complaint. You have a right to family time, but to tell me that you sent a check out right away, when two business days went by is a lie. You disrespected me sir, not the other way around. Im not saying Leo is a bad guy or does bad business, but I will say he plays semantics and Id caution you to do your homework and be cautious before you cut a check.

I hate to leave bad reviews but I need to warn people about this place. Please listen. I got scammed by Leo. He told us he was a nice Christian man, and had a cute little boy so we thought he would be someone we could trust. We bought a car from him so I could get to and from college. Within 3 months of driving it, it broke down on the side of the highway. We have put thousands of dollars onto that car replacing the engine, spark plugs, etc. We have spent more money fixing the car than the car even costs. Leo seems like a nice guy but if he claims to be a Christian and is scamming people, thats not right. As a man of integrity he should be honest about the TRUE condition of a car.... money seems to matter more than honesty.... My advice to buyers? Bring a mechanic with you so Leo cant lie. Have the mechanic check under the hood, check the way the car runs, etc. But all in all, the next car I bought was at Acura of Seattle, GREAT car, runs fine. Great customer service. They called 3 days later to let us know that if anything went wrong with the car they would replace it up to about 6 months? I gotta ask my husband. Also, Duffys in Covington. People rave about this place and its not far from fed way. He sells all his cars cheap to keep them accumulating but they are all gently used cars, amazing condition. Id suggest going there. All in all, you dont want to waste your money and later find out the car doesnt even work....

I had worked in the automotive sales industry for three years in California prior to moving to Washington in July of this year. Based on my experience as both a sales consultant and as a consumer it is safe to say that I know the business and the number of questionable dealerships and salespeople within the industry. I was looking for an affordable but well maintained or reconditioned commuter. David Boyko who is an exceptionable person as well as sales consultant, he was laid back, no pressure, and honest about the history of the Honda Civic that I was interested in buying. After I had not wanted to make the purchase that day, he did not continue to hassle me with phone calls (something that I admit that I did as a consultant at managements request) for days. When I was ready to make the purchase I called him and he had the car ready to go and the process was short and sweet. In addition there was something that I had wanted adjusted on the vehicle and without hesitation he accommodated my request. Based upon my experience here as well has my experience in the profession I can say that without question that this is an outstanding place to purchase a vehicle. I will be recommending everyone I know to David and Boyko motors.

I purchased a 2010 Mercedes GL350. I had been shopping for several months, and knew I found the right one, at the right price. Both Leo, the owner, and Alex, my salesman, were friendly, no pressure, and fair. They were honest, showed me all the flaws and stand out aspects of the vehicle, and were able to work out a great deal for me. Leo even helped with financing. Both were very easy to reach by phone, e-mail, and even text message before and after the sale. I read a lot of the reviews online before buying from Leo - my personal experience parallels the positive reviews that seem to make up the bulk of the reviews. My particular vehicle was sold "as-is" without warranty, but that did not prevent Leo from fixing a cosmetic problem I discovered with a seat, or sorting a problem with a headlight. Leo seems to want happy customers, and was quick to ask me to contact him if there were any problems, as he felt he could often offer help with many problems, even if not bound by warranty. I highly recommend the dealership, and would say Id go back, but hopefully will be driving this vehicle a very long time! Leo - good luck to you with the new property - I hope you get it...
