Horrible customer service, every time. Do not go here. I only ever go here in emergencies, if you just need things printed in black and white try the Library (Centralia or Chehalis) its free with a library card and 10 cents a copy without. Or try the print shop in the fairway center for more complicated things. They are very helpful there. If you need office supplies just go to wal mart seriously. The office supplies at staples are overpriced anyways. 1st time - Need about 15 playing card size pieces of card stock laminated. I assume it will take 20 mins max. Employee says, no, we cant do that. I ask her how long it will take. She says a MINIMUM of one day and I will have to come in tomorrow to pick it up. ONE DAY. To laminate a few pieces of paper. So i tell her I need this now, she says "were really busy" (literally no one else there) I ask her what if I do it? In about 5 minutes I arrange it all between the sheets of plastic, hand it to her, it takes her a couple minutes to put it through the machine, then I cut it out in another 5 minutes. The entire time she is standing there doing nothing but watching me. Ridiculous. 2nd time - I come in about an hour before they close trying to get something printed. The only employee in sight, at the cash register, greets me. I tell him i need something printed. He tells me to wait at the print center for an employee because he cant leave the register unattended. I go to the print center area and wait for literally 20 minutes. There is another man there waiting as well. Finally an employee comes out, and says that he was on his lunch the whole time and that no one called him to come up. It takes another 15-20 minutes for the employee to help the other customer, who cant speak english very well and is trying to show the employee something on the computer. The employee gets very rude and defensive and tells the man that he cant use the computer, point out anything on the computer, or go behind the counter to show him something. finally its my turn. Had to wait at least 35 mins for bad service. 3rd time - Went in with a jump drive to get a few documents printed, and one picture. The employee says that there is 2 jpgs and no documents. I tell him there should be a few 4 documents, can you please print them all. He insists that there isnt. I tell him just print everything then. He prints 2 documents out of 4 that i needed, (despite telling me there were no documents on the drive) and then tells me he cant print the picture because of "copyright issues" and he cant print anything that may be a logo or copyrighted, which makes NO SENSE. It was literally a pattern I was using for a sewing project I was working on. I went home and checked the jump drive and all the documents WERE there, and they were uncorrupted and in the same format as the things he did print. Bad service and didnt even get what I wanted. Everytime I have had different employees, most of there employees are very rude, do not smile or act nice, and all look like they hate their lives.

After three separate visits, I finally went north to the Office Depot. My first visit was with someone who did not offer any suggestions or help. We needed to print 200 single flat cards for wedding invitations along with the smaller "additional information" card. I didnt like the paper that she had. She said thats all they had. I left unsatisfied. I returned later (visit #2) and was assisted by Emily. She was very helpful and competent. I expressed my lack of satisfaction at my previous visit. She told me that the the gal was her supervisor. We left that time, not because of the service but to think about some decisions. She kept our thumb drive in our folder. A week later I went back (visit #3) to have the prints made. We were barely greeted. Someone was sitting on a stool behind the computer. After I hovered at the counter for a minute, she asked if I had a question. I said, "Actually, I have a project." She looked annoyed. I said "If youre too busy I can come back," hoping that would prompt some acceptable customer service. Her reply was, "uh, yaa". I started to walk away but decided to go back. I said "Actually, Ill take my thumb drive. Ill go somewhere else." She still didnt try to make it right. And THEN, she pulled up my folder and the thumb drive wasnt mine. She said, "Maybe she has it with her. We can call her." I said, "Why would she have it with her?" She said "Well I know shes been working on it." I said "Working on what? There wasnt anything to work on." I left without it. Finally, a couple hours later, I got a phone call from the store but I was driving and they didnt leave a message. When I called back, it was the same incompetent person that I talked to during my first visit. She said "We found your thumb drive." I asked where. She said "uh...in your FOLDER" with all kinds of attitude! I said "You know what? Just keep it. I wont be back!" My visit up north was successful. I had two very competent and friendly people helping and everything was done in an hour. I dont even need a second trip up to pick up the finished product.

If negative stars were possible I would choose that. The print shop is unprofessional and is not dependable to complete jobs on time, accurately, or even at all. I dont know if the management makes this a terrible place to work or what, but this store seems to have the most unhappy employees and they do not seem to care much about service. With two weeks prior to a deadline, I sent four projects through the website, 3 for same-day printing. I called the next morning and they were not even started on the 3 projects, which were banners. I had to make a special trip over on my day off, Saturday, to pick them up, and then not only did they only do 2 of the three, one of the 2 was incorrect. I then had to go into my work (again, on my day off) and email over the print out of the original order so that the banners could be done correctly. I had also ordered business cards, which I was told had to be sent out for double sided printing. I was fine with that, as I had ordered them that prior Tuesday. However, that was messed up as well. That Saturday when I spoke with the employee in the print shop she said she would get everything fixed, including the business cards and have them expedited from the other shipping center. Imagine my surprise when Monday morning, there is a poorly written email telling me they dont do double sided printing at that location and it had to be done online (which I already knew, had stated in the email and already discussed with them). I called and spoke to a third employee, who assured me she would put the order through as a rush. She promised to call me in an hour; 3 hours later she called and said it was expedited and would arrive Friday. I stressed with her I needed them no later than that for the Saturday deadline to hand them out, and she assured me it was taken care of. Friday rolls around, no cards. Call back to find out the employee had canceled the order. Thanks so much for leaving us in the lurch and unable to hand out cards - next time we will choose a local shop. It might be more expensive but you obviously get what you pay for... Or dont get, in this case.
