Having a 60 day return policy for unopened items is outrageous. Most stores including ACEs competitors have at least a 30 day return which include opened items. Customers should have at least a few days to try the item and if/when they find flaws with the product they should be given a full REFUND. Bremerton location has terrible return pollicy. Plus some employees have no clue to how some of the products work. Several came to offer assistance but did not have any clue how the products work or any suggestions to what i was looking for and could use for my project. When you go to a hardware store it would be much more helpful when employees could know what they are talking about to better assist customers. I will continue going to Lowes instead even though i couldnt find the right items there. They have a excellent service and return policy there. Never again will i go to this ACE location.

I was inline way too long (customer could not make up his mind on which cement he wanted) and asked that a checker (middle aged blonde haired woman) who was doing nothing but standing around to check me out. She did and as I was leaving she said to me "you know, patients is a virtue". Who the hell is she to say this when I just asked her to do her job. I will never go back again because of her attitude.

The employees didnt know their own product i.e didnt know what type of sandpaper to use, couldnt tell which hook to use to hang a 185lb object, and then when i was leaving they accused me of shoplifting because i didnt buy anything...i didnt know WHAT to buy because NOBODY COULD ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS!!!

Ace is a great neighborhood hardware store. They have 90% of everything I need, without the airplane hanger experience of the big boxes. I can run in for wire, weed fabric, and whatever and be done in a flash. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Insufficient product for a sale. Promises to call when rain check fulfilled and I had to call and ask. Excuses why I wasnt called. All around poor retail experience.

Way more helpful than Lowes or Home Depot... I read a few reviews and they sound like spoiled brats. The staff is super nice and always do their best to help.
