God awful, unprofessional clowns! My first time in no one working could answer a very simple plumbing question so I took more of my time coming back today only to be followed around the store by every over the hill clown they had working! Why? My guess is because this is a cute little family store and I have my septum pierced. Ive worked in loss prevention, I know what signs to look for. I was displaying NONE of them yet I wasnt left alone for a second! After a while I just started messing with them, making them do circles to prove to myself that I was right. I even had to listen to one old dude talking about beating people up right before he posted up 10 feet away from me and proceeded to openly talk about me over their radios. So ridiculously unprofessional! I let the "manager" know on my way out that they lost at least $50 in soils and additives because of old white man prejudice! Its sad, I thought in all the cities in the world Portland should be the one city I can walk through a hardware store without angry old white men judging me. Its right down the road from my place but NEVER again!

I Love hardware stores in General. Orchards - has some nice things, But are WAY OVER PRICED !!!! The Service is RUDE//DESPERATE AND DUMBER THAN A DOOR MAT!!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE SLIGHTEST !!!! THEIR THROWING DARTS IN THE PITCH BLACK ! WHAT THE HELL!???H DO ORCHARDS SALES PEOPLE THINK WHERE ACTUALLY DUMBER THAN THEY ARE? IF SO? I TRULY HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS. IM FOR SURE I WILL NOT SHOP ORCHARDS ANY LONGER AND I HAVE DISCOURAGED EVERY ONE ! I KNOW FROM SHOPPING HERE. EVERYTHING!!!! THAT WE HAVE EVER PURCHASED HERE HAS BEEN RETURNED. EITHER BECAUSE IT S FAULTY. and every one I know (my friends; Smart Folks. Engineers, Surgeons, Lawyers. Says the same thing about Orchards. Right down too a DAM Mister Bottle ( simple) it does not work and the parts are manufactured on so tight ! the Orchards people could not even open it!! which cost a whopping $8.00 This Idiot ! Want a Be Cool store needs to be Put Out Of Its Missery

These folks wasted an hour of our time. Purchased some items, waited patiently for almost an hour for them to bring the items out front only to hear that they are missing one of the items. They offer to give us the damaged display model as a replacement. We didnt really want the damaged display model unless they discounted (since we can just get new elsewhere), yet they wouldnt discount it at all (especially surprising to me after wasting an hour of our time). There are plenty of other places to shop that value their customers time. We ended up going to the Tigard location, made our purchase, and they had our items brought up in less than 5 minutes! Go shop at the Tigard location instead.

Purchased solar globe lights for under BBQ gazebo, wind driven rain gets in the globes they freeze and break. Garden center woman informed us we should consider them disposable lighting and had no reliable suggestions for dependable outdoor lighting here in the Pacific Northwest. However, we do like the store and the store manager.

I love this store compared to the big name stores as the service here is way more friendly and you dont have tons of busy contractors joasling the isles. They also send through email great single item discounts. They are really kid friendly and on weekends most of the time they have free popcorn.

Outstanding knowledgeable staff along with quality merchandise the goes on sale frequently. Much better than their parent Lowes stores and Home Depot. I enjoy dealing with Orchards and will continue to do business at Barnes Road and Tigard, glad to have them in our area. Nothing but the finest.

I dont go here often but when I do I typically have problems with sale prices. Currently standing here trying to get a pricing issue resolved. They were also out of a common plumbing item I needed. I had to buy an extra piece to make up for it.

Has a nice selection but can be a little over priced in comparison to Home Depot or Lowes. Good for a quick stop. The customer service here is miles ahead of the big box stores, Im always greeted and can always find someone to answer my questions.

My new favorite. I hadnt been there because of the perception that its more expensive... but its not! Plus, most of the staff is super helpful and extremely pleasant. Same experience at the Tigard location. Highly recommend it!!

Great store layout -- good mix of hardware and outdoor related product. I like the size versus the mega box layout. Friendly people, price has not always matched the tags but the clerk took care of that for me.

OSH seems to have a well-organized store. They have the products their customers want, like this Weatherwash wood stain that instantly ages wood to turn it grey. OSH has always met my expectations.

Just average in selection. Prices are a fair bit higher than the big box home improvement stores. Employees are friendly and available, yet not exceptionally knowledgeable about home improvement.

Great inventory, and convenience pricing. Great paint dept, especially those bargain "oops" paints and stains. Nice sand paper dept. Like a mini Sears without big parking lots or too big depts.
