I always shop here because my initials are Ace and I like to support local business. I used to work at Johnsons Home and Garden (the do it center) in Maple Valley. This store remind me of that. Johnsons is bigger now but before their remodel they were smaller like this Ace Hardware. They get have a decent selection for their size but no where close to McLendons or Johnsons because of their size. What makes them unique is their Agrishop which sells a lot of Stihl chainsaws. I bought a farm boss from them and cut down an 80ft pine in my front yard. Great saw. I hit the dirt with it and it dulled so I went back and they set me up with a sharpening file for my farm boss and sent me home happy. My last trip a gentleman named Ed helped me out, super helpful guy. Sometimes you just need to discuss your problem and project with someone to iron out details, even if they are super knowledgeable able your specific project. Ed listened to me, gave me some advice, and helped me find everything I needed that day. Keep in mind, this store is small. They get pretty packed sometimes and resources to help everyone are limited. I have only met one guy who works here who generally seems unhappy everytime I am there. Hes not necessarily rude but hes not overly pleasant. Just seems like hes all work and no play sorta speak which doesnt really bother me but I can see how it might bother others. I give them 4 stars because of their selection, and helpfulness. I almost gave them 3 stars for their hours though because they close at 6 during the week which blows my mind but I think its respectful and good for their employees to get off at decent hours instead of trying to make more money. It says a lot about the owners, my hats off to them. Google says 7 so make sure you double check their actual website because they close at 6 during the week. Trust me, I was 9 minutes late today and I really needed to exchange something for a project but oh well.

Edit: Murphys law...since writing this review ive begrudgingly gone back in several times and had the most outstanding helpful friendly service since my bad experience. I felt bad and had to upgrade from one star. Original review: I went in there today (Sunday) to buy a Stihl MS210 chainsaw and to look at a Cat 1 rake attachment for my tractor. I spent 10+ mins waiting around for the sales guy to finish his chat with a customer. I probably would have stuck around had the guy at least acknowledged me, or if their conversation seemed like it might have an end. Also my hair was messy, and I had a coffee stain on my shirt, so the guy might have thought I was some looky-loo chump. Who knows. Screw the little guy, Ill give my money to the big box stores. (okay so I was a little mad when I wrote this...support the little guy!)

Feeling a bit ripped off . I purchased two Sthil br 350 back pak blowers within a month one of them runs so bad that a push broom is faster for clean up. I called the service desk to ask about getting it taken care of , thinking that since it was brand new less than 4 hours of use it would be covered. The first thing I was told is that Sthil wont warranty the problem and my 7 day trial period was long past , so a return was not going to happen.Buyer beware DO NOT PURCHASE STHIL PRODUCTS WHAT A JOKE . Maybe the AgriShop shouldnt sell what they cant stand behind and warranty . I will be making equipment purchases elsewhere from now on.

Excellent to do business with ! We just had a "Muck Truck" (four wheel drive wheel barrow, Honda motor) and a Toro 2 Stroke geared lawn mower serviced and they did an excellent job. Best part, they offer a pick and delivery service for a reasonable fee. The driver was very professional, knowledgeable about the company and very helpful. Even the person answering the phones was pleasant and helpful. We own a print shop in North Auburn and we understand the importance of customer service. Agri-Shop in Auburn (and Tacoma) understands this as well. You do not get this service from your big box stores. I would recommend using them.

Called today to get a carburetor assembly for my honda lawnmower. Waited on hold 15 minutes. No one ever picked up the phone to see who I was holding for. Called back, waited 5 minutes. Get the guy on the line, said he didnt have the part and hung up. Wow. Couldnt even bother to see if I needed anything else? Maybe see if I wanted to have them order the part? Crappy customer service. Hey guys, Ive called 4 other places to find this part and they all refer me to you. Sorry, not earning my business.

wouldnt shop here after the way I was talked to on phone by some lady who didnt identify herself. I asked if a sliding screen door was in stock and was rudely told they dont carry any type of screen doors she never offered to order one that I seen on-line. She stopped talking all together and I finally hung up.

I shop at the Auburn AgriShop. I mostly purchase John Deere parts and fasteners within the Ace hardware store. Inventory is outstanding, prices are fair and parking is ample and accessible. The shopping environment is very positive! They have a very nice line of Stihl products too! Ill be back for more!!

I went here to pick up a Stihl weedwacker. I wanted the lowest end one which was missing on the floor, so the gentleman behind the counter had one put together for me in about 5 minutes. Everyone was very helpful. Very nice, not pushy to make a sale. They even gave me a tank of gas! very satisfied.

Its been 4 days i am trying to get an answer on to what is wrong with my chainsaw for which i paid 400+ dollars to this shop. All i get is too busy please call back in few hours. Every time you call there will be a hold of at least 5 minutes, so you might be better off going some other place.

Best place to get parts for a good price. They have an awesome selection for such a small store. All the employees there seem to be really good people and helpful. I really like their small engine parts counter for random hard to find parts. The employees there all seem pretty knowledgeable.

Well-stocked hardware store. Service was hit or miss. Disappointing, as I spent $5000 on a riding mower and trailer that literally fell apart days after I brought it home. They eventually made it right, but I wouldnt recommend them over their big box competition

Really? OSHA and WSDOT are gonna love this. During morning traffic hours two idiots are blocking traffic for a Ace delivery truck that cant figure out how to drive. No safety vests, no signs, just two morons ruining around in traffic.
