I recently purchased a 2005 Suzuki C50 from Valley Cycle Center. The reason I was originally drawn to this dealership is because based upon online research they did provide the best price in my area. Im a first time rider, so I was extremely excited to be getting into the game. My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday and talked to David. David was a honest, polite, and genuine person. The whole time I was looking at bikes trying to wrap my mind around the real dangers of motorcycles, he walked me through and was seeking my safety and my wifes safety first. We had originally settled on buying a 2001 Honda Shadow VLX, but because it was a Saturday we couldnt finance that day. So he put the bike on hold for us, for free, and gave us a write up to take to our personal bank to get a loan. David said the base price of the bike was $3,000, which to me is reasonable. Later that night I jumped online to find the VIN to do some more research, and found they had the bike listed online at $2,500. Luckily, David had given me a business card with his email. I told him about the online price, and gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was just a mistake. He emailed me back within a couple hours apologizing and said he would send me the new write up Monday morning. He was true to his word, and I believe he was sincere in not knowing the online price. Monday morning I went in to pick up the bike, but a Suzuki C50 caught my eye and after a discussion with my wife we decided to change. I was worried David would be upset since he held the other bike for us, but he was understanding and was excited for us to find something we liked more. The price was a little bit higher, and the bike didnt have a nice back rest for my wife like the Honda had. David talked to the parts guys and they offered to throw in a $600 seat for free. Wow. After about an hour of financing jazz, we were finally ready to roll. I do not have a motorcycle license yet, so I brought a friend to drive the bike home. As we were getting ready to leave, my buddy noticed that it was making a weird noise and turning itself off. Ugh... So we went inside and got David, and he took the bike into the shop. Turns out it had a bad fuel pump, and they would replace it for free, since it was not my fault. Ultimately these guys took care of a greenhorn like myself and looked out for my best interest and more importantly my wifes. Honestly though I am a little worried since the bike already has an issue, and I dont know enough to be preemptive in diagnosing these issues yet. I hope that if something else does happen to be wrong that they would maintain their consistency of looking out for me. Good: Customer service (David) not pushy, funny, sincere, willing to work with us, and honest. - Willing to hold bike for free while we got financed. - Fast responses with email and information we would need to have. - Honest about mistakes and willingness to fix the situation. - Fast financing process. - Good family feel. Bad: Bike had undiagnosed issue prior to sale. In conclusion, I would recommend this dealership. I would recommend David Lupton. I would also recommend if youre new to the bike game to bring someone who knows about them.

I was 43 years old and always dreamed of riding a motorcycle. Specifically a Sports Bike. Actually was supposed to be my first vehicle because of a young mans budget but with cash in hand, the bike had a problem starting. I passed on the bike! 24 years later, so many years of "window shopping, just looking around and one of these days" I saw some bikes on Valley Cycle Centers website I liked. Actually loved! I requested an inquiry and I received an email with a thank you for visiting our site and sales would be getting back to me.The next morning Tim and Dave both reached out to me. Most importantly with no pressure! I called back and met Tim when I walked in. His desk was the closest...lol. Glad it was! Best sales representative Ive ever met! No disrespect to you Dave! Daves been there for me to answer any of my new rider questions anytime Ive called or just came in looking for something. Also a truly great guy! I felt overwhelmed walking in the massive inventory of bikes at almost closing time important to mention. Tim was a guy that loved motorcycles. Especially the bike I was searching for. He was answering my questions with his own personal experiences. He showed me some videos of his close friend at Summit Point Raceway on YouTube. I never felt pressure but I did feel a friendship. I found the bike Ive always wanted when ironically it wasnt my first choice because I didnt understand all the fancy manufacturer terminology for motorcycle specifications which he kindly guided me through. They were closing as I was leaving. Tim said he would hold it for me and did as promised. The next day I was coming in to buy. We talked by mobile phone few times and it technically was his day off! Talk to Tim from time to time. Im still asking questions of course and telling him how much I love my GSX-R600 he helped me find! Tim helped give me the confidence that I needed at 44 years old buying my first bike. He said to call anytime I have questions and he meant it! Valley Cycle Center is not just a place to find a motorcycle or gear. Its also a place where when you walk in youre a friend! Special thanks to Kelly in the service department as well helping me with my first scheduled service! Also to the folks in merchandise with all of your help with helmet fitting and a list of other things to long to mention. If youre looking for a motorcycle go to Valley Cycle Center and become part of a family. Not just a buyer!

I HIGHLY recommend Valley Cycle Center if youre looking for a bike/atv in the Northern VA area. I made the hour trip to Valley after other dealerships in the DC area couldnt get within $500 of what Valley had the leftover Z800 listed at. I spoke with Dave Lupton on the phone while I was at another dealership and he gave me a no hassle, no BS price out the door and it was clear no one would beat Valleys deal. Dave was extremely helpful throughout the process and made the experience a great one. We decided to roll some gear into the deal and Richie at the parts desk was more than happy to assist us with grabbing some helmets and Jackets and referred us to Amanda who was very knowledgeable about bluetooth intercom systems. Amanda was more than happy to find us the right product with the right price. James, the GM, finished up all the paperwork with us and made sure everything was set up for us. We even spoke with Tim, another salesman, right before we left and he gave me a Kawasaki shirt from his desk and both he and Dave gave some stuffed animals to my two kids who had been waiting patiently. I couldnt be happier with the deal I got or the experience I had. Everyone at Valley deserves kudos for a job well done. Because of the great I experience I had buying, Ill certainly make the drive back for maintenance in the future. I have no doubt their maintenance folks will be as great as everyone else there! Thanks everyone!
