Today is the fourth time I have used Capital Powersports. Prior to this they were resectable and clearly seeking to provide a superior customer experience via friendliness. Apparently they are abandoning that methodology. They have two excellent mechanics, both of whom are terrific and trustworthy. They have a problem however at the service desk. Three days I called to get a price on a rear tire. I was told the price was ~$252 dollars. Now I had them do the very same tire just thirteen months earlier. Price then was $201. I thought a 25% increase in a year was a bit much. I asked if I brought a tire in how much to mount it. I was told, "about 45 dollars." I said okay. I then went on line and found the same tire for 100 dollars less, realizing there would be an additional 45 dollar mounting fee. Still all said and done, I was saving 55 dollars. Today I called again and asked how much the mounting cost was. I was told this time, "50 dollars." I thought whatever, I just want the tire on. My mistake was not RE RE Confirming the price when I got there. I get the tire mounted go to pay and the lady says it is 70 dollars! I said you told me earlier on the phone 50. I got the dear in the headlights look. She then said she goes by this paper (cost of services), total lie, because the price was 45 first time on the phone, 50 the second time, and then 70! I told her if you had told me 70 on the phone I would have NEVER come here. She just looked... Needless to say I will miss the mechanics. But I will never return there. First their pricing is getting way out of line, but more importantly I dont care how good your service is, dont lie to me. I understand they are not making money there or are just barely staying afloat. I wonder why.

Overall the service was fine. But be ready to be pressured into a purchase. They are very sales oriented and not as sport focused as other places we looked. I was looking for my first motorcycle and felt like they wanted to sell a bike, not work to find me the perfect one. I did some shopping around and ultimately purchased the bike through Capital Powersports because they had the bike a wanted. It got delivered as promised all gassed up and cleaned, which I really appreciated. Like I said, the service was fine, until I signed... After I signed on the dotted line I became invisible. Ive been trying to get a part that should have come with the bike for almost 2 months now, and havent received a call. When I call to check for an update, its as if Im asking for the first time and Im told theyll look into it. Then another few weeks pass and the process starts all over again- very disappointing. I love the bike, which is why there are 3 starts, but the service was very pushy and then non-existent after the purchase. Make sure you do your research and shop around, or you may end up with a bike you didnt actually want. UPDATE 3/24/17 Increased to 4 stars. After getting in touch with Capital again, I learned that the employee I had been coordinating with was no longer with the company. Once a new employee took over, things moved very quickly and the part I needed came in no time.

Bought a 2015 CTX700DF two days ago from Capital! Knowing exactly what we wanted (the CTX700 with automatic transmission for the wife), I had looked around before visiting them. Bill, our salesman is one of the best in the business! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work with you even after the sale. Other dealers didnt want to allow a test drive prior to the sale. However, Bill simply said, "Let me get the keys for you!" This was the absolute best no hassle deal I have ever had! I drove 2 1/2 hours from the coast and stopped at other dealers who were apparently not as willing to sell, to get to Capital. Im very glad I took the time to make the drive. I got a deal that beat every dealership I had visited previously. Highly recommend Capital and namely Bill for a great experience!

Apparently customer service means nothing to these people. My husband asked me to pick up some parts for, easy enough. I should of known this was going to be bad when the girl at the counter was too busy with her cell phone to help me. Finally she helped me, however there was a missing part and one that was incorrect. I believe her name was Liz. Anyway she was not happy that expected her to actually do her job.. sorry to bother you. When she went back to correct this mistake I over heard her saying "This C&$^ has to be F*&^$$# kidding me with her attitude, what a b*%#$. To say I was offended is saying it nicely. I just got what I needed and split. I should go to her manager and complain but I have no desire to ever go in there again. Seriously they need to fire this chick.

Im not sure if it is because Im a female, but they had been warned the day before that id be coming to get a tire put on. I brought in my empty rim and left it for 5 hours ... they couldnt put on a new tire ("we were waiting on a part for the machine but just got it in" WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT THE DAY BEFORE OR WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF?) So I left my rim there for another 19 hours ... they STILL COULD NOT INSTALL A TIRE. They handed me my wheel off the bead and it had no air in it. Turns out they rushed, popped the tube, and couldnt get the tire to sit right in a 24hrs period.

Had an oil change and a state inspection done on my Yamaha VStar (and yes they treated my Yamaha with as much respect as a Honda :) ). I think you can judge a service department by the attention they give the little things like an oil change. Capital PS really took care of me. In and out in an hour, checked my tires pressure, lubed my kickstand, and after a quick consult, even adjusted my clutch cable. If they put this much care and did these kinds of extras on a simple oil change, you can bet I will bring my bike here for any future service.

I highly recommend if you are in the market for a Atv/UTV or bike you come down here and speak with Joel Holl before you shop elsewhere. I attempted to do business with an unnamed "Team" that sells powersports in Garner and left more upset then excited. The knowledge, experience and willingness to help with a low pressure sales approach that I found at this dealer are the reasons why I purchased here and will continue to bring my business here for years to come. Thank you to the entire team at Capital Powersports for all your help.

Recently, my husband went to do a service maintenance in Capital Powersport at Wake Forest. The service was excellent, staff was very professional and the price was reasonable. Keith and other staff members always provide an excellent customer service to us. We bought two bikes in this store and they work with us according to our budget. Very friendly, service oriented and great people to deal with. Thanks you guys! Rosalie Bocelli
