Rude staff, incompetent to do their jobs as well and i dont say this lightly. In the span of 2 days i had to call this place over 10 times (not an exageration), only to have them either transfer me to the wrong department or to be left to a voicemail they only check every 2 hours. The reason for my call was to get an emergency prescription filled for glaucoma. Pretty serious stuff that can cause someone to literally go blind without it. I gave the department the pharmacy information 3 different times, each time id call the pharmacy and they said they didnt recieve it. I tried calling back and leaving messages, and 15 mins before closing i tried calling again and their phones were OFF THE HOOK. So unprofessional, if you dont like your job that much find another one, your putting peoples lives in danger. Upon calling sevral times the next day i got a very rude woman on the line who wasnt even in the correct department, but at least communicated to the department what to do (which by the way wasnt that hard, they had to just call the pharmacy instead of trying to send the info electronically) . I never got a call back confirming it was sent to the pharmacy, i had to call again, myself. This place is awful and they should reconsider their staff as they obviously dont give a damn about their patients well being. Update: 10/24/16 I was contacted by beach eye care via yelp by a woman named Meri and asked if i could be contacted via phone. I agreed. Over 6 days passed and i hadnt heard anything, which just added to my frustration. I contacted them again and was given the excuse of her being out of the office for a couple days and then being sick. Its fine, i still gave them a chance. Upon being contacted eventually i was greeted by a lot of talking and then asked if i wanted to voice my concerns or have her share her findings with me. I agreed to have her share those findings where she just gave excuse after excuse. First of all she told me that she was short staffed and explained why 3 of the staff wernt there, in detail... ? The fact of the matter is this was a serious situation and it should have taken some kind of priority. Im not even saying top priority, just to make it a point to service us, given the situation. I let her keep talking. Then she basically told me i was wrong about the situation and that the medication had been sent to the pharmacy at 2pm and that she had checked it, even though AFTER 2pm i was communicating back and forth to the pharmacy and the doctors office. So, im wrong apparently even though the pharmacy and the doctors office is telling me they dont know where it is??? Then she asked me if i had been taking care of my grandfather, i said yes. She then made the statement saying "someone hasnt been taking care of him very properly". That ended our conversation as it is common sense not to ATTACK your patients. I then proceeded to tell her she doesnt ever need to contact me again, where she proceeded to try to talk over me. During the begining of the call as well i said something and she completely ignored it and continued talking. The rudest staff i have EVER, EVER encountered. Please take my advice and seek another doctor. I wouldnt recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Let it be known this woman also questioned what i was trying to get out of the conversation. Well, you contacted ME, asking to talk. So i was hoping for an apology. No discounts, no excuses. Just a promise to do things a little differently next time and make things right. Never happened, and the conversation certainly wasnt going in that direction. She was just trying to defend herself and the company. Its not about that. Its about making things right. This woman shouldnt be speaking to customers because she doesnt know how to talk to people period.

I went into Beach eye care for an initial eye exam, knowing that I needed glasses for reading. I was talked into purchasing progressive lenses and they sang the Praises of these progressive lenses and the cost was $1,200. My insurance took care of part of it the other portion of it I paid which equals out to be approximately $700 out of pocket but they were supposed to be excellent glasses I could wear them all the time without having to take them off and put them back on for reading or working on my computer. The first set of glasses that I got had a wave in the lens therefore there was a big blur spot and I could not use them, i neve took them out of the store. They ordered me another pair and a week and a half later after they were remade. The second pair I took home tried them for 2 weeks called and told them that they still appeared very blurry I couldnt use them right and they said that there may be a problem with the lens went back and found out that they had written the wrong prescription for the top part of the lens. So they sent them back again and I get them back again a week and a half later and I still cannot see out of these glasses so I tell them that Im done playing with these progressive lenses that were recommended by them and that they could not get right and they proceeded to order me a bifocal lens which is significantly less expensive and stated that they would not reimburse me any portion of money because I already had them remade three times even though it was no fault of my own. When I told the lady that I would not use their service again she simply stated okay no problem and did absolutely nothing to try to accommodate them messing up repeatedly. If I could give their sales dept less than 1 star I would. They were rude and incompetent. ***Update: I contacted Beach Eye Care and they returned my phone call. I spoke with Steve who was the director explained the situation to him he understood that I was upset he understood my reasoning why and as he stated I bought the Cadillac of glasses and unfortunately thats not what I was going to get. Due to my eyes not conforming to progressive lenses I cannot use the pair of glasses that I purchased however when I asked for a refund I was told that I had to wait and they had to discuss it with the doctor. Finally I got a phone call back as promised and Steve told me that it was taken care of and they were going to refund me a portion of my money that I had paid in.

Staff is extremely rude! Dont go here! They just want your money! I received LASIK with Beach Eye Care and after paying thousands of dollars to them my vision began to decline. At a follow up appointment I was informed glasses or a touch up procedure was possible but was told I should monitor it for a year and then see where Im at. When I called to schedule an appointment to go forward with the touch up procedure they told me the procedure would cost me an additional $2000 dollars. I just received LASIK two years ago and find it very upsetting they kept telling me to monitor my vision till I was outside the one year mark upon which, additional enhancements are no longer covered under your original payment for surgery. I asked to speak with my doctor and Vicki, the receptionist, said he was busy and that I could not speak with my doctor nor could I leave a message to have him contact me at a later time. She then transferred me to a staff member named Lisa. Lisa preceded to lie to me and told me the doctor was not in today and that I could not speak with him but she would leave a message for him to contact me. He has not contacted me! I find it appalling that I could not speak with my eye doctor to ask a simple question about my eyesight and that the staff actually had the nerve to lie to me and completely ignore my request. These people are disgusting and clearly care more about money than their patients.
