Products carried for 19 years arent there anymore. Half of the employees act as if we work for them. Major social event for employees. Management doesnt seem to care. A few long term employees doing the bulk of the work, others standing around talking. The store had been on a downward spiral for the past few years. Sunday morning shelves are more empty than full. Beginning to lean on Food Lion for more and more. Some Great Value products are good but name brands are better. Its time that management worries about the customers rather than bonus and the bottle line. Mr. Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave.

This store is more in country area, yet they have a lot of products for sale, they have a decent speed of service here to keep up with customers. The pharmacy here should ask people if they want to be informed about their medication pick-ups when its ready.

What mainly is disagreeable about the place is the number of open registers. Why have 20+ registers if only 5-6 at most are open at any one time. Last time I was there there were only 3 open in the middle of the day. People were walking out because of it.

Wish they would open more registers. Hard to find help when you need it. I often find employees standing around talking about personal things. Reported seeing someone stealing and they still didnt get the guy. Anyway......

Love it! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Always stocked and have things the other Wal-Marts in the city dont have. I live in Richmond and plan my Wal-Mart shopping around my visits to Tappahannock.

This Wally World has the happiest employees Ive seen in one of their stores. Their attitude was a marked contrast to what Ive experienced in other Walmarts. The management is doing something right.

Frustrating that they wont accept manufacturer coupons, if the computer rejects them, when they are perfectly legitimate. No problem with this at other Walmarts.
