I was very disappointed in my experience at Bon Ton. I purchased dress shoes and the only thing the saleswomen wanted to do was pressure me into spending more money. The shoes I chose were relatively cheap and one woman insisted that I buy more expensive shoes. They insisted that I needed to open a Bon Ton charge (the one woman asked me 3 times during checkout). As I was leaving, another saleswoman heckled me out the door, because she wanted me to buy a watch (Again, I needed shoes, not a watch). I would not be surprised if these people worked on commission, because of how pushy they were. From now on, Im going to Macys or JC Penny.

Just go to Park City if you need to get to a Bon-Ton. The selection is terrible, it looks like the building hasnt been updated since the 60s, and God forbid you need to interact with an associate. I just needed to do a simple exchange (had the original receipt, of course), and she tried to tell me that I had to unbox the new clock because I didnt have the original packaging for the one I was returning. Their return policy on the back of the receipt says nothing of the like. I was able to leave without having to do that, but it was still an unnecessary hassle, and one that Ive never had at the Park City location.

I asked a saleswoman for directions to the fitting room and all she said was "its up front" (this is after I asked the first time and she completely ignored me). I asked where up front was (mall side or towards the parking lot), and she told me she couldnt give me directions because she was busy (doing eyeliner on a customer). It really wouldnt have been that difficult to either tell me more politely that she wanted to finish or to just explain it to me (she cant draw eyeliner and speak at the same time?). I left without buying the suit I need because Im not paying $200 after someone is rude to me.

Everything was great with shopping and coupons except I had coupon for 25% off of cosmetics but the cashier did not apply it.
