Walked in no greet from anyone, every associate i made eye contact with never spoke, so i went to jewerly, worker with pulled back pony tail walked by me plenty never said a word, so i went to her and asked if someone could assist me, she replied she could i said thats ok u walked by me plenty and not even said HELLO she repiled she was working and thought i was BROWSING, point... I was there to purchase a bracelet to go with a ring i purchased the day before at another LORD & TAYLOR.. Never judge because you do not know whom u may be giving service to. (CHEVY CHASE, never again)

Poor customer service, employees are rude and unhelpful. They act like they are doing you a favor by speaking to you. Poor selection of clothing. The entire place is stuck in the mid 1990s, completely outdated. Their websites eCommerce experience is also terrible. Unless this place changes the way they do business, they will shutdown soon. If your product selection and customer service sucks you dont have much going for you. Customers have plenty of options!

Store is dark, poorly lit and claustrophobic. Sales associates are hard to find. You feel as if you are wandering alone in the big, dark store. Sales are so frequent that its no big deal anymore. I have gotten some good bargains though but do not find shopping there to be pleasant and do not go there often; never to browse; only when I really need something. All this despite the fact that I live a few blocks from there.

Not only my favorite store, but without a doubt the finest store for service in the entire Friendship Heights/Chevy Chase area. Staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. They built a great relationship with their customers and not only know you by name, but know your taste. A magnificent building, with magnificent merchandise by a magnificent company.

For the more mature (50+) woman looking for style, this store offers both designers and size ranges hard to find elsewhere but the service is dismal for a store thats supposed to be upscale. I have spent thousands of dollars here despite the service. I am continually baffled by the low level of help. Couldnt disagree more with the previous reviewer.

If you are looking to shop for clothing from kids to adults this is a place to go. You can shop here for things like make up, beans clothing, purses, perfumes and even has a beauty salon on the second floor. It also has a huge parking space and very convenient in proximity to restaurants and other retail stores along Wisconsin ave.

Still a go to store for me after all these years because I like to dress like an adult. There are a lot of shrinking mens departments out there. Whats left offer a lot of overpriced jeans and tee shirts. L & T offers convenient, covered parking. Never a long wait once youve chosen your items. Close to other stores where I shop.

This store is one of the last of the old time department stores in Washington DC. It has dependable products at various prices. Watch for their almost daily sales, and get on their mailing list for coupons and other goodies. Finding an associate to check you out sometimes is not easy, they are there.

Love the sales and selection. The sales staff tends to ignore customers though. I have to have my husband standing by outside the changing room to help if I need another size, because no one who works there ever comes back to check how you are doing.

The last time I visit this store I had on scrubs my friend and I was greeted At the front door before we could even browse around what are you ladies looking for so I left way out of my league never had a chance to look.

I love my store and my discounts! Im a happy employee. The pay isnt much but cant beat the markdown after markdown prices. With my employee discount, its all worth it. Bethesda location is the best store!!

I never go to Lord & Taylor, I always assumed it was for older women (because the one in South Miami seems to be) but I was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic deals and a great selection of merchandise
