I was very dissatisfied. I drove an hour to get there to purchase some adult coloring books. They had a sign posted that the coupons were not allowed to be used on the coloring books. When I spoke with a young lady sale associate she told me some were on sale. I asked her how was I suppose to tell without a sign saying which ones were. She scan 1 book and said well this one is not. Go to AC Moores. I was very disgusted with the customer service at the store. I spoke to the sales associate at the register and they were not concerned either. I guess Michaels has lost a loyal customer.

Giant, clean craft store with sales often. The staff is a little "meh" and while pleasant, arent excited to see you or anything. I cant blame them, it does look like just a generic retail job, so I dont expect them to be overly chipper. A lot of items are overpriced, so you may want to watch the paper for coupons or sales to make the item you want a much better deal.

Rating is based on the products in the store. As for the staff I did not appreciate them following me around, like if I was going to steal something. I am a paying customer. But other than that I enjoy going there for craft supplies, and art supplies. Also to get things for when I have photo shoots to do and need something for my clients.

This is the only Michaels in Roanoke and I am extremely disappointed in the layout, cleaniness and the disorganization of product! The happy planner section is a complete mess! The floral is scattered throughout the store and you cant find anything! I love Michaels but this location makes me HATE it!!!!

Ive been back to check on a Prismacolor Skin-tone set in stock for the past three weeks, and theyve never restocked it. If theyre going to display a product that says its available up front and not in stock, they need to remove it. Id rather go to A.C. Moore than have to deal with this every week.

Good craft store. I could browse for hours. I would say there could be a better yarn selection though, color and skein size.
