I am very disappointed in my Disco Sports experience. On May 31st, I took my two boys there to try on and purchase our swim team swim suits. They didnt have the sizes we needed (which I expected) and needed to order them. The salesgirl wrote up the order and noted that the suits were needed by June 10th. She explained that they would call as soon as the suits came in. On June 13th, I called as I hadnt received a call and wanted to know if they had come in. I was informed that they were expected on the following Monday, June 16th. On June 16th when I called, the person I talked to said she needed to know what sizes I needed to find out if they had them or not. As I was calling from work, I didnt have our sizes (which I found to be a strange request as there should have been a copy of the order I placed at the store). In any case, that evening I called back with the sizes I needed and left a message with the sizes. When I didnt hear back from her on the 17th, I called back, but she had already left for the day. Today, the 19th, I finally received a call saying a box had come in and I needed to call immediately as they couldnt hold any suits for me. As I had already paid for my two suits-- I dont understand why two couldnt be held. In any case I called back with my two sizes and were told that they would be at the counter for me. I drove there with my two sons to make sure they fit. When the two boxes were opened, one suit was correct, but the second suit was not our swim team colors. The salesgirl checked in the back, and came to tell us there were none left in his size. This is completely unacceptable! How do you order two suits that a customer pays for, and then almost 2 1/2 weeks later not have them? I have complained in writing to the store, but wanted to share my horrible experience with this company. I am sad to say that I will not be recommending this Richmond company to anyone that I know.

I was looking for football gear for my son. It was my first time in Disco Sports, I have not seen customer service like this in a very long time, phenomenal. This is a family based company and it shows, they love their customers and sports. You cant go wrong with that philosophy on their business. They Are now my new sports store and I will be.telling everyone on the Southside about them. Thank you Ms. Gail for your total experience on Sunday!!!

Disco Sports is the Best sporting Goods store around. They have such a nice staff, and my family has been shopping here for three generations. With swimmers, softball players, football players, baseball players, dancers, gymnast, lacrosse players, soccer players, and wrestlers they have everything we need for every sports season.

Went in for dance shoes for my son and I was in a bit of a hurry. The staff was able to locate the correct size and style that he wanted without any fuss. I would like to see more non-frilly dance offerings, though.
