I would like to start out by saying that my experience with purchasing my car was fine, Amon was great and I cannot complain about him. I have held back from writing a bad review about this dealership but I am growing more and more frustrated each day with the accounting department. Its now almost 3 months after I purchased my car and I still have not received the title. I have been issued 3 temporary registrations and have called them ~15 times total. The one and only time Ive been able to get any information was when I got lucky and caught Heather at her desk (which evidently is very rare) and she claims they are waiting on a duplicate title from another state. I am not sure why I was sold a car if they did not have the title in their possession in the first place, but it happened. This was a month ago and I am now days away from my THIRD temporary registration expiring and tried to call again today and AGAIN got a voicemail. If I didnt live 150 miles away I would obviously handle this in person, but the distance makes it very difficult and I have no choice but to keep calling. I was also told when I bought the car that since I dont live in the state of VA that I would be receiving a check in the mail refunding me for the tax I paid on the vehicle, so that I could then use that money to pay the tax I would be required to pay in my state when I got it registered. Guess what? No check. Im being optimistic and hoping that when (if?) I eventually get the title, the check will come with it. The icing on the cake? I am a Maryland resident and had the cars safety inspection done the week after I bought it, expecting to receive the title shortly after, allowing me to be able to register it in my name. Well, a MD state inspection lasts 90 days and costs $75. I have about a week left until it expires. Needless to say, Im less than thrilled with the customer service and if you decide to purchase a car from this company, make sure they actually have the title to the car.

The biggest takeaway for prospective buyers is that their "negotiation-free pricing" is, in fact, negotiable. I haggled down the price of the used vehicle I was buying, and haggled up the price of vehicle I was trading in. They want you to think that you are already paying bottom dollar, but you arent. Just look at their facilities. Someone is paying for them. I purchased a 2010 Audi A3. I had an overall bad experience. The check engine light came on 10 miles after driving it off the lot. I live 3.5 hours away, so I couldnt simply return the next weekend. They declined to reimburse me after a local dealership fixed the problem. Shortly thereafter, I blew a tire. The reason being that my tires were inflated to 70 PSI! That is 32 pounds over the recommended 38PSI. How could this possibly have happened!? Additionally, the spare tire was 35 lbs under inflated, and the wingnut holding down the spare tire was busted. What this tells me is that Hyman Bros did not inspect the vehicle before selling it to me. The proof lies in the fact that the salesman discovered a small chip in the windshield after I had paid for it. I feel lucky that my tire did not blow out at highway speeds because the consequences could have been fatal. While they havent explicitly declined to reimburse me for the blown tire or busted wingnut, they have shown no initiative and communication has been terrible (its been over a month and Im still waiting for a response). They seem to be very unapologetic about these issues and I hope to caution people before they are treated as I have been.

My husband and I went looking for a car and first checked out a Buick Enclave we were helped by a salesman named Joe he was great I would give him a 4 star alone. My husband saw a Infiniti JX35 and he wanted to test drive it so we did the second day when we came back. The first one we test drove was great but out of our price range so Joe went and got another one (which was in the color I was looking for and cost less), from the other lot up the street. When we got back from the test drive we turned it off and tried to turn it back on but it wouldnt start. Popped the hood and the battery terminals were seriously carotid and the battery was dead. I was irritated I was brought a car that had issues. They fixed the issue from what I was told but in the mean time I had found another car with one less bell and one less whistle with 9k less miles on it through Carvana. Because Hyman was local we tried to see if they could come down 995$(they already had the price of the car at the high end of the "great pricing" through truecar) but they refused. At the end of the day I got a car with one less bell and one less whistle with less miles for 4k cheaper. I really feel like the Hyman Brothers sales manager screwed Joe over on this in the bag deal. Im not even sure what the point is in having a salesman when the manager is the gatekeeper and they dont work with people. Check out Carvana before you go with Hyman brothers because you can save more money and they have a better warranty vs hyman.

The sales team with Hyman bros was great to deal with Dennis did what he needed to to do to get the job done ! I had bought another car from them in the past and the issues I have is with the service department. !!! This time is the same thing I had issues with the car before I bought they told me it would be fixed no problem, well I had to take time from to take it there in which I was ok but as usual you get oh I cant find nothing wrong it !!!! Everything is good well get in the car and the same thing happening so I call my salesman no problem I will connect you with service we will get it fixed he will call you in 5 minutes. Its been over a hour and a half and nothing. When I finally get to speak with someone I have to arrange a ride all over again when I was prepared for it the first time for them to take the time and find out whats going on with the car I know better mechanics that wont BS ME and waste my time

This is not your typical positive review. A few months ago, I ordered a car through Hyman Brothers and they were a pleasure to deal with. They were low pressure salesmen and they answered all of my questions honestly. They coordinated the delivery of the car around a schedule that kept me away from home (Im a pilot). When, my insurer wasnt giving me what I wanted, they suggested another which Im still using. When the car arrived, it was as described. Unfortunately, when I drove it, I realized that it would never work out. The interior was just too small for me and the steering wheel really got in the way of my legs when braking. They called back and worked with me on trying to move the seat as much as possible to no avail. In the end, they took the car back and I only had to pay for the shipping, a very reasonable $700 roundtrip. I hope some day Ill be able to deal with them again.
