Loved the selection. Just what I was looking for. A 1997 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Short Bed with a Powerstroke, automatic transmission, and less than 50k miles. After talking with Eric and agreeing on price (a fair price for both of us at $28,500 against a list of $29,900 and eBay Buy It Now of $29,000), I went to the bank and had approved financing pending an appraisal as the truck was in terrific condition and well above market average pricing. Called Eric to ask him about an appraisal and had to leave a message. This all took place in a few hours. No call back. Sent him a text with no reply. Finally, got a text back at the end of the day with the following: Eric: "Sorry. As soon as we got off phone today. Someone came in and purchased the truck." Exactly how does this happen? If you wouldve walked onto the lot and talked to him with a verbal agreement on price and a willingness to buy, went to the bank to got the check, showed back up and the truck was sold, how happy would you be? As a gentlemen, my only reply other than this review, was a text reply of: Me: "I wished you would have called. We could have done earnest money and renegotiated pricing." Im not sure what to be more disappointed about, missing out on the truck Ive been searching for for a couple of years (missed out on a similar truck with 38,902 miles versus this one with 49,009 for about the same price and condition a year and a half ago during house buying), or Eric. Id like to think that any small business owner would not continue to make deals after striking a deal with another customer (At least in the same day. Maybe a, "I have the truck sold, but if something doesnt work out, can I have your number and give you a call?"). This is proof that Id be wrong. I am glad, however, that I didnt grab the check from the bank, make the flight, and drive from Richmond to Locust Grove only to find out that while I was in the air the truck was sold. Integrity and doing the right thing should still mean something.

i seen this first review and was very nervous about going to this dealership,but i gave him a shot.Icame from virgina beach which is 3 hours away i may add for a truck eric had posted on craigslist.i called eric told him what i was looking for and all that he told me if the truck wasnt what he said he would pay for my gas for making this trip.when i got there it was a very warm welcome its a small place kinda like a mom and pop shop.we were welcomed by a very cool dog lol i walked in and asked for eric he was there we shook hands and i asked to see the truck.now i looked over the truck and it was exactly what he said he also brought me out the serivice record of the truck i was looking at there were things such as oil change ball joints air filter you know the works.now i verified everythign the oil change i looked at the oil it was on point may have been done 30 miles ago or so air filter wasnt in bad shape also the ball joints were done as well as the the hubs were in great shape tires where brand new i even looked at the wireing harness and it was not messed with great shape truck after the review i asked to test drive the truck he gave me a key me and me and my wife took the truck out i went up the road maybe 15 miles to feel out the transmission and make sure the transfer case was good.the truck had no problems the transmission shifted very clean i came back and asked eric what kinda work was done on this transmission he did he put a neutral safety switch in great deal also after i was happy with the truck we sat down at his desk to go over a price i told what i had and he worked with me im very happy to say he went out of his way for me im very happy with him and his company just so anyone viewing this post know im real not a dealership feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] id be more than happy to go over my time at this dealership with anyone i would highly recommend him damn good guy

I bought a 2010 F250 from Eric and Misty last week and all I can say is THANK YOU !!! I saw the truck online the day before and sent an email telling them I wanted to come see it the next day. I explained that I was over 3 hours away and had recently had a bad experience with a salesman at another lot that had sold a truck prior to me arriving (A week prior! and he didnt tell me until I got there!), so I didnt want that to happen again. When I arrived I met Eric in the lot talking with other customers. He greeted me as I approached was very nice, polite, professional, and even tried to get me with a joke by saying someone had just bought the truck...HAHA. I was very pleased to find the truck was exactly how it was pictured and described. I went inside with Eric to get tags for a test drive and met Misty and their baby girl who she had with her (what a great baby !). Both Eric and Misty were very personable and easy to talk to. After the test drive we went back inside to try and finalize the sale and I must say that it was the easiest experience I have ever had with any salesperson ! In the end, I drove the truck home and couldnt be happier. I was very pleased with the entire experience and am glad I found what I was looking for at a place with good people, doing good business ! I highly recommend E & M! THANK YOU ERIC AND MISTY !!

I’d been searching for a 97 ford f350 four door 4wd diesel with a 5 speed transmission for about eight months. I looked at a lot of trucks and was starting to get very frustrated with the selection and the poor condition and was just about to give up. I was searching online one day and happened to run across E and M autos website. They had the exact truck that I was looking for and from the pics it looked to be in great shape. I’d never purchased a truck on the internet before and was a little nervous but I didn’t want to miss out on this one so I decided to give them a call. Once I spoke with Eric and he took the time to do a walk around of the truck with me I felt very confident that this was the truck for me. I purchased a plane ticket and hoped for the best. When I arrived at the airport Eric was there waiting for me with the truck. I checked the truck over and took it for a quick test drive. I couldn’t believe how clean the truck was and it looked even better in person than in the pics! We signed some paperwork and I was on my way to start my journey home which took me about 9 hours and he truck ran great. I have to say this was the easiest truck purchase I have ever had and I am still enjoying the truck!
