On 4-26-16 i bought my second car from Jim Barnard chevrolet in churchville were hows the saying go"its not business as usual... Its personal! well im gonna say true statement there business is selling cars as well as maintaining all your car needs from A-Z. the personal part is while making a huge investment, they combine all that business stuff toss in some top notch customer care pros and made me feel warm and fuzzy the whole time. From signing all the papers to the couple prep days they needed to get my little buggy all "nice-nice" I felt like a little kid at Christmas.when i picked my buggy up it was off the charts after the service dept. went thru it Joe in there dollop shop made it look amazing, they definitely have a keeper with that tech. the way he pays attention to detail and the pride he puts in his work is bar none. I felt so warm and fuzzy about my car i brought my wifes 06 Monte Carlo for Joe to work his magic on, and i might say the car looks like the day i drove it out of there 5yrs. ago .to allan and your team thank you for everything. my wife and i are so happy!!!!you know that new car feeling it deserves a word all its own, you know the word of the day "Its the Bomb-diggity" thanks again!!!!!!

Nothing to like about this company, Nothing but bad experiences since purchasing the truck. Terrible service team, they have had my truck for over 2 weeks for an abs light. Techs must be lacking knowledge, they say its not business as usual its business as personal, they are far fetched from their moto, dont ever take vehicle here for service, you can go to,any Chevy dealearship with your warrantee. David the service manager is a joke, absolutely worst experience ever with these guys, my problems are so ridiculous I went straight to Chevrolet and filled a complaint with them. I will most likely pick my truck up after 2 weeks with the service not even done because they are so bad I dont even want my vehicle there anymore. They claim to have re wired my radio and automatic start, and at the rate they are going they probably made it worse. Just terrible experiences every time I have to deal with them. Once you sign for that vehicle you are meaning less to them.

This dealer is overall great! I had an idea of what I was looking for before I entered the door, which made things easier for everybody, though I strongly believe they would have still satisfied me, even having to start from the beginning. Instantly, Jen greeted me and sat me down to discuss my personal needs, wants and budget for a new vehicle. She was very patient and informative about the car buying process (being that this was my first purchase of a car from a dealer). We went for a test drive in a few vehicles and finally, went back to talk numbers. Jen got me out the door with a car that satisfied everything on my list, and was precisely on my budget. On my way out, the owner of the dealer was friendly and shared a laugh before congratulating me on my car and sending me off. Thanks so much, Barnard Chevy!

Really small town friendly and generous. January 2015 - We were traveling from Buffalo to Rochester in my Smart EV and needed a charge. They graciously invited us to used their charger, warm up in their very pleasant waiting room, and help ourselves to coffee or tea. They arent currently selling EVs, but with the new Volt and Bolt coming out they may revisit this decision. I would definitely want to come here to test drive! Fast n easy WiFi. Thanks Ken and Tim! May 2015 - Rochester to Buffalo - with warmer weather we probably could have made it, but why bother living with range anxiety? We stopped and grabbed a few miles. These guys are so welcoming Im inclined to visit when Im in the area even if I dont need a few kWh.

We had a wonderful experience at Barnard Chevrolet. My husband and I purchased a Chevy Silverado and a Chevy Equinox a couple of weeks ago from Barnard. The two of us have had several experiences with various dealerships and always left the deal feeling like we were ripped off. This was not the case at Barnard. We feel that we got the best possible deal and that they truly wanted to earn our business. Patrick, our salesman, explained everything so well. I was impressed by the fact that we got a tour of the entire facility and about an hour of explanation on each vehicle that we purchased. He even set up our on-star for us! We will certainly be doing business with Barnard from now on!

I think I already posted this but will again. I have always had a positive experience at Jim Barnard from lease of the vehicle a yr. ago to present. They have always reminded me when service is due and are always right on time. When they say the vehicle will be done in an hour, it is done!! The sales and service staff are knowledgeable and most of all very courteous. When my lease is up, I will definitely re-up with Jim Barnard as will my husband who had a negative experience at another dealership. We live in Spencerport but would travel wherever to deal with Barnard Chevrolet. I am a GM person and have been for over 40 years--love my GM cars.

My experiences with Jim Barnard has been nothing but terrible and inconvenient. Awful service EVERY single time I brought the car back for a problem. They could never seem to fix anything right the first time.- always had to return a day or 2 later. The car had a habit of dying and stalling out- but once it died while I was driving it on 390 late one night, I was done with it. Unbelievably, they seemed very unconcerned with this and were unable to find the problem. They sold me a terrible car and basically refused to help me at the end of the day. Will never return there for purchases or service.

Had a regular oil change performed. I advised the guys when I checked in that a guard plate below the vehicle had a free spinning screw. They said, no problem, we will check it out. About 30 min later while I was in the waiting area, my adviser came out and said that there is a free spinning bolt, but that they didnt need to replace it or anything because the guard plate can turn enough for them to complete the oil change. I was so happy, and to be honest, it renewed my trust in taking a vehicle to dealership for any type of repair. Thank you Jim Barnard service team.

Nice selection, great service and body shop. HORRIBLE salesman named Lanny. This guy was friendly until the deal was made then turned into a real jerk. I have heard at least 4 other horror stories about this guy since I bought there. Its too bad that one bad apple can spoil an entire company. I personally know at least 3 people that will never go here again because of him. Do yourself and your otherwise great team a huge favor Mr Barnard, let him go!

I worked with Jennifer in finding my new Silverado. I let her know exactly what I was looking for and she made the process quick, easy, and was thorough. I would definitely recommend her. Service after the sale can sometimes be an issue with certain dealers, but when I had a recall the Barnard Service Department was fantastic. They had me in and out and everyone was extremely friendly.
