I had a very frustrating experience with Store #4621 in Leesburg, Virginia. I ordered a grill to be assembled and delivered to my home. First, I had to call the store multiple times to get the grill assembled. That took almost two weeks. Second, I scheduled delivery to my home for a 10a - 2pm window. The store called me to cancel delivery the day before, but ended up confirming they could deliver. Then no one showed up during the delivery window. I called the store and spoke to Tracy. It turns out they forgot to schedule the delivery or made an administrative error, its not clear. She said she would arrange for a driver to leave the store immediately with the grill. Over one and half hours later, no grill, no call, nothing. And no refund. Customer service could be improved at this location; Id advise dealing with the new Lowes that opened in Leesburg or the HD in Ashburn (which is a shame because its farther away).

We spent 20 minutes in this store going over cordless drills with the friendly, helpful clerk. We decided to go with a ryobi that was more expensive. We get it home and open the box only to find that IT DOES NOT COME WITH A BATTERY OR CHARGER and at no point did the friendly sales agent tell us this in helping us with our selection. Now we have to travel back there in the rain for a return or to spend more money. And that was just 20 minutes of our hour+ in there. We had to buy 8 screws for $2.50 in a shelving unit branded package because the same helpful clerk couldnt find the same size screws in the hardware isle! So the same guy who helps us select the cordless with no battery drill couldnt find a package of round head screws! And we looked all over the hardware isle for 15 minutes! The level of ineptitude and the waste of our time has me incensed!

Its hard to know where to start when trying to describe their incompetence. So just be warned. Dont place any special orders for delivery because they cant manage their inventory. Theyll sell you items that supposedly are in stock. Then call you the next day to tell you that theyre not in stock and wont be in stock for months. Then theyll tell you that hundreds of that item are scheduled for delivery the next day, so call back again tomorrow. Then the next day, the delivery cant be found and they still cant verify whether they have the items in stock. If you call back again after being on hold for 20 minutes, their special services desk wont answer the phone. If they do manage to answer the phone, theyll put you on hold and never come back if their shift happens to change while youre on hold. Why would anyone want to shop there?

As someone who is pretty easygoing, I dont normally get irritated enough to write a negative review. But, wow. This is a good place to go if you need basic supplies, paint, and the like. But, do NOT go here for installations. We have attempted to get blinds installed by these folks TWO times now, and both times they have misplaced our information, delayed getting back to us by a week or more (when they promise you 48 hours turn-around time), and in general treated us as if they really did not care about us. Aside from two of the managers, the staff have been completely unhelpful, apathetic, and have an attitude problem. The two managers are the only reason that I rated them 2 stars instead of 1 star. We are never going back here for anything again besides basic supplies.

Since its usually only the complainers that post reviews, I thought Id post one. I find most all employees are at least willing to help, and if they dont have the answer, they will seek one out. Its a huge store with gigantic inventory, do you all really expect each employee to know this place inside and out? I think the Paint dept guys are awesome, and recently I was looking for some specific hooks in hardware, and we looked and looked and even checked the computer to no avail. As I was walking out (about 20 minutes later) the woman helping me came and tracked me down, and found the hooks. I was calling them by the wrong name, but she figured it out, and I got my hooks!

Store is ok, inventory 90%, staff 80%, however the home depot credit plan is a complete scam! Opened a credit card and got a 10% discount. Tried to go online to pay the card balance, could not pay the card without the whole card number (not provided). Called customer service to get the card number, they would not give it to me, said I had to wait for the card to come in the mail. I asked when it was sent since I never received it, they said it had not been sent yet! So I asked why not and they said they would send it right away...... whatever HD credit you are liars and rip offs.

The cashier at return/customer service name Gloria is so rude and not very helpful. I was simply asking her where can I find a kitchen faucet and she said "I dont know just go in there and youll find it"... I SMH and left. And some other time I see her when I walked in the entrance she looks like she doesnt like her job and look very unhappy most of the time. It made me not want to shop there. How can someone hire someone like her. SMH !!!!

Standard Home Depot fare. Last time I was in was for a return of several items. Customer service and the returning process was quick and efficient. I was actually extremely surprised at how quick and easy the returns were for multiple purchases that were coming back. Staff is friendly and helpful most f the time.

One of the nicer home depots weve been to. The staff seemed nice and helpful. Customer service took quite a while to get my product, but they were busy and lines at customer service at any Home depot takes forever so they shouldnt get docked too much for that.

Service stinks! This is by far the worst Home Depot I have been to, No one is there to help and when you find someone, they look annoyed to help you, The cashiers are incompetent. What happened to all the competent personnel that used to work there?

Cannot get the store operator to answer and totaly forget trying to get through to the department person. The canned music which comes on when you are extended hold is horrible and is blasted out so loud. What type of people manage this store?

Tyler and Emmy are awesome . Tyler took me to the product...a ton of wood...loaded it for me...pushed cart to cashier(Emmy) spelling? and thehelpmeet me load it into my jeep all while in a torrential downpour...great customer service guys!

They installed wrong door in October. Still waiting on replacement (May). Representative (Joe) ignores my calls/texts. Previous Home Depot experience was very good. May need to try Lowes more often.
