Ok. This place usually has the best tasting coffee in the Leesburg area. However, what this establishment lacks is courtesy and proper customer service. My experience with King Street Coffee was, for lack of a better word, tarnished due to only ONE employee. This employee, not only made me and my client feel completely awkward, but wished to express her useless-condescending opinion on where we chose to eat prior to getting coffee and continuously challenge our choices and opinions, because lets face it: a hippy who works at a coffee joint knows everything and all things pertaining to life. My coffee I ordered was disgusting and I was told by said employees that it was he speciality. Just stick to making iced coffees and lattes little miss know it all. Please, have this employee released from services; she is definitely not someone you want representing your company. I appreciate the owner of this coffee joint, but something needs to be done about the employee.

I dont get out to Leesburg often, but when I do, I make it a point to swing by KSC. The coffeehouse is located in a charming old home that only adds to the feel of having a warm cup of joe in your grandmothers kitchen. The selection is awesome with beans from around the world available for brewing in shop and to grab a bag to take home until your next visit. The baristas are informed and friendly. On my last trip, I went with a friend who isnt a big coffee drinker and she asked some basic questions (latte vs. cappuccino) that most baristas in D.C. would scoff at her lack of knowledge. The barista was excited to explain the menu and he made her excited to try something new. Even if youre making a trip out from The District for the outlets, make sure you swing downtown to check this place out.

This place is a total gem! We recently relocated to NOVA and were disappointed by the lack of locally owned and operated coffee houses (being the relative snobs that we are when it comes to the muddy brown stuff). King Street Coffee delivers in a big way with locally roasted beans, fantastic baked goods, and knowledgeable baristas to go along with it all! On a nice day, go enjoy a rocking chair on the patio along with your beverage. Must say, some of the best chocolate chip cookies Ive had as well. Dont miss this stop!

I was gladdened when I was so pleasantly surprised to hear that our girl Abby had taken it over as her very own entrepreneurial adventure. Couldnt imagine King Street Coffee without her so much a part of her is associated with King Street Coffee that it seemed only natural that she filled the void left by Kim who revived it after its fallow period and none better to carry on that torch of bringing King Street Coffee back to life, and keepin it alive and real, than *our* Abby. Heres to you , darlin

I was very disappointed with the service this morning, May 17. I ordered a cappuccino with almond, and the barista said she would bring it out to me. So I added a tip when I signed the bill on their computer screen. The same person later called out my order for pickup at the front instead of bringing the drink to my table. Worse yet, there was no almond in the cappuccino! I drank the cappuccino anyway but it is unlikely I will return again.

Great coffee shop a block from the courthouse square. Dont bother with the drip coffee, though, as they put it into a thermal carafe, and it is most forgettable. (Ive had better coffee at 7-Eleven.) They have excellent pastries, including gluten free, and its a delightful place to relax in the middle of a bike ride. Regrettably, shade tree over their outdoor seating died last year, and they havent put up an umbrella or anything.

Very good coffee spot in downtown Leesburg. If its early morning, the brewed coffee will be great. If its later in the day, probably not so much -- get a pour over. The Mexican blend they have is outstanding. Generally nice people working there (much nicer than some other coffee shops downtown). And for whatever reason, a really nice customer base. People that go there are just generally friendly and nice. Great place.

The place to go for good coffee, delicious, fresh pastries and a great environment. Employees are very enthusiastic and friendly. Carrot/walnut are mine! LOL Lots of gluten free options and great variety of teas too. Provide plenty of parking for their customers. Even a place to enjoy your coffee outdoors when the weather permits. Strongly recommend it!

This is not your average coffee shop. They actually have some of the finest imported coffee around, depending what the type of coffee and origin theyll use a espresso machine, a French press or brew it. All timed, carefully done and thell make suggestions based on your purchase. Great staff. Five well deserved stars, you earned a new customer for life.

Fantastic, small and fast. Try their house blend, chocolate - citrus and tobacco flavors from a three bean combination. Really great Con Panna, or espresso in general. Friendly staff with who seem to be able to balance the standard morning coffee chatter with a sense of haste and excellent delivery of well brewed and crafted coffee drinks.

King Street Coffee consistently brews an excellent cup of coffee, and offers consistently friendly service with that small-town familiarity and comfortable atmosphere. Way better than Starbucks, and even a little better than Dunkin Donuts. If youre like me, the locally owned is better than the chain most days of the week.

Friendly staff; warm and casual atmosphere, with a sunny and comfortable sitting room for chatting or working. I appreciate that they serve tea from a local supplier, Dominion Tea. I do not drink coffee, but relatives who have received King St coffee as gifts from me give it rave reviews.

A lot of different coffee options, more than most coffee shops for sure. I want to say they had a dozen or so different types, maybe more. The coffee I had was great. The pastries looked delicious too but I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try them.

Fantastic pastries. Nice staff. Coffee good to meh depending on what you get. The house blend is locally roasted and solid. Good place to hang out and avoid the ungodly lines that normally form at the chain stores down the street.

I am the least decisive person ever, and the people here are the absolute best about putting up with that, and coming up with new things I should try. If youre on the fence, go with their suggestions. They are fantastic.

Cozy, friendly place with delicious coffee. The cold brew is fantastic. This is my go-to spot on long weekend bike rides when I need a caffeine break - only a few blocks off of the W&OD. Very bike friendly place.
