As the swelling and redness has gone down and Ive really been able to see the work, the coloring done is terrible!! Blotchy and speckled, not filled in completely - in fact hardly filled in at all!! And, as I said the first time, missed black lines too! For extremely high price of $300, compared to my other ink (more than twice the size, way better quality work and only 2/300 the price!) After bragging about how fast he works (and trashing other local artists - not cool dude) - now I can clearly see why it didnt take long at all. Other artists quoted me 3 hours in the chair - Max only took 50 minutes. I certainly hope this will be fixed at no additional cost and with some compensation for my inconvenience. (First reveiw) Decent job done, but I will need to come in for touch ups due to lines missed and coloring very speckley/ not filled in completely. Will re-review once tattoo completed.

This is not a boutique tattoo shop. These guys are pros who are at home with everyone from 1% bikers to first timers. Unlike other shops I have been to, there is no need for a sketch appointment followed later by the ink when they can squeeze you in. I Dont have time to waste on that BS. Just make an appointment with Jerry, bring a concept and watch it come to life. The price is a real bargain too.

Walked in to get an autograph I got on my arm the night before permanently tattooed. Roy greeted me & was very friendly from the start. He simply asked what I wanted & fit me immediately. Took maybe 15 minutes. He was clean and professional. Meanwhile, I was asking him ideas for a sleeve. Long story short, I plan to go to him for my sleeve. Toucan is the best in Hampton Roads.

Jerry is AWESOME and does great work. Me and my husband was dealing with another shop trying to get a design made of the tattoos we wanted and the guy we were working with keep giving us the run around for over 2 months. Heard about Toucan a while back finally got here and what can I say im definately impressed with the prices and the talent working there!!! Forget all other shops in the area check out Toucan tattoo if you want the best!!
