I came in to get a small heart tattoo on my hand. I was told that since it was on the hand that touch ups werent free and Id have to sign a disclaimer which was fine. I was charged the shop minimum which is $45 plus a $3 charge for using card. After signing the disclaimer and paying for the tattoo I met with the artist who brought over the paper with the heart on it. It was the size of a quarter which is too big for the side of my finger. I told him it was too big and he was very reluctant to make it smaller but he did 2 more times when he came back with a heart the size of a dime which is still too big for my finger so I asked to draw it myself the size I wanted. He told me he wasnt going to do it that small and wouldnt tattoo my finger since it would fade quickly. If I signed the disclaimer I should be able to get the size and wherever I wanted my tattoo. After he told me he wasnt going to do it for me I decided that this wasnt the place for me so I wanted a refund. They only refunded me the $45 so I was out $3 for nothing. Doug was his name I believe. They were friendly I just wont ever go back.

I have quite a few tattoos, so when i choose to talk you should choose to listen. From the moment you walk into the from doors to the second you leave Ink Wizards tattoos is an amazing experience. Natalie at the front, not only being super attractive but she is also very helpful and friendly. If she cannot answer any questions she will ask around until your questions are answered to the fullest. She excels at costumer service! When i get my work done i see Chris. Well what can i say. He is an amazing artist, and has yet to disappoint me with the numerous pieces he has done. i personally refer all my friends and coworkers to him if they are interested in getting inked, and they also are extremely pleased. and none of us at this point will see a different artist. He can alter designs and create originals all with the same touch of badassery. He is a true artist and a master of his craft. I highly recommend getting ink work done there, every artist is great but i personally recommend Chris

I got a nose piercing done 10 months ago from today at the Ink Wizard Clinton MD shop that went horribly wrong. The blonde lady that did my piercing seemed to be an amateur. I asked if she had done piercings before and she replied she had done several piercings. In one session, she pierced my nose three times. That is three times the pain and my nose was bloodied! I would say that she was nice and apologized for it. I kept it on for 2 more months, in the hopes that it would heal. It did not. I discovered that the piercing was on too tight. I was forming a painful bump on the part of my nose that was pierced and I finally removed it by a nail clipper. The piercing was moderately expensive and done poorly. It just seems that this shop takes any person that claims to be a piercer off the streets. Do not come here for piercings!

The people were nice at this studio, but I am rather disappointed with my first piece from the California location. The initial design needed some corrections, and I was concerned about the color scheme. But I dont even want to go back for touch-ups or a chance for the artist to redeem himself by making the first attempt better. I felt like he was in a hurry the whole time, and he didnt listen to the details I wanted in the tattoo. I would not recommend this shop to anyone I know. Go the distance and seek outside professionals.

Ive gotten all of my tattoos and piercings from here and i have always been pleased. I have gotten pierced by the girl that works the front a few times and she is always very friendly and knowledgeable about the piercings and tattoos. All the tattoo work ive gotten done there looks awesome! I get compliments all the time. The artists there are pretty cool guys and i think ive been tattooed by all the artists that work there. They seem to care about the customers a lot and are really good artists too.

I think this place is great. I have gotten my conch pierced here by Natalie, and she did an awesome job, and I LOVE it!!!!! I also got an awesome tattoo from Chris, who also gave my husband a great tattoo awhile back. Anyway- Its a great business and a great place to get piercings/tattoos done. I find that the (unwanted) pressure that I seem to feel in most tattoo shops is non-existent at Ink Wizard. Its a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend it!

My tattoo artist Chris did my very first tattoo (Im 53) and it is beautiful!! He made my tattoo exactly what I wanted. Chris was very kind, explained everything he was doing to me and talked to me the entire time I was in his chair. I will be going back and getting another tattoo from Ink Wizard they were all very courteous and kind. I will recommend Ink Wizard to anyone who is looking to get tattooed!!!! Thank you Chris!!!!!

Ive been getting my tattoos done here ever since I got my first at 18. 5 tattoos later, and they are still better than the one wrist tattoo I got done in Indiana. They are incredibly friendly and talkative while youre getting work done. They are always accomodating and very insightful. The prices are very reasonable for the artistry put into it. I will continue to return here for my future work.

I would not pay cash for a tattoo and then come back another time to get it done then pay more. And you should be able to pay it how you want to pay for the tattoo. They just dont want it to fall back on them if they screw up the tattoo. Thats what that is. I miss underground.

I always get pierced here. The piercers are very friendly and are quick about things. They do not rush, but they dont dilly-dally either. However, I got my first tattoo here and it looks like crap. My tattoo was very overpriced too! Body piercing- GREAT Tattoo- HORRIBLE
