I really wanted to like the Red Octopus. They are friendly, and seem to be a very clean establishment. Ive even been using their cute little keychain. Im sure theyre not going to be happy with this review, and Im sure they might say that I should have come in if I was having any trouble. But whether or not I came in to see them does not change the following. I finally had my ear looked at by a professional, because its been three months and my industrial still hasnt progressed in its healing and has hypertrophic scarring on both sides, inner and outer. I have been in pain up until recently. Firstly the barbell used for my piercing left no room for swelling, the ball bearing beads were actually digging into my flesh, and given the aftercare they sent me home with actually instructs me to move the barbell, I did end up irritating it more. Secondly the aftercare they gave me was not correct. You do not want to be putting ointment on it or moving it at all - both are likely to cause extreme irritation and delay healing or worse (the ointment isnt sterile so could easily become the cause of an infection). Ive since then been able to do some salt soaks and have the barbell switched out for a proper length. Immediately my ear has began to show signs of healing and is no longer being restricted by the tight barbell length. Ive been in tears over this whole thing. As far as piercings go, I would not recommend this place at all. I havent visited them again, because I do not trust them anymore on a professional level, and neither should you.

Ive been here two times. Once to get a piercing and another time to get one of my older piercings looked at. Both times I received great service. I have never had more than a 10 min wait for both times that I went (and I was a walk in both times). The lady that does the piercings knows what she is doing and explains everything to you; how to clean the piercing,what to do and what not to do during the healing process. I must say, she doesnt lie about whether the piercing will hurt (Ive been to a bunch of places for piercings and they always say, "o this wont hurt"... LIES! She even helped me keep one of my favorite piercings that I thought was infected- but it wasnt! With her help I kept my piercings and I would definitely recommend going here (for a piercing)! side note- I know nothing about the tattoo experience

If you go here ask for Jared. Guy is professional and can turn anything into a masterpiece! He has done 3 of my tattoos, a family crest on my back, an American flag on my inner arm, and some lettering on my triceps. People always compliment these works! As long as Jared is there, Im going to him. I suggest you give him a call and tell him what you want and let him draw it up ahead of time. The prices are pretty good! People complaining about prices on here dont understand that you pay for quality!

My first tattoo. Best work. I would highly recommend them for tattoos. Love the people. Great, friendly customer service. I was scared of getting my first tattoo but the comfort they gave me the strength to get it done. The best end part was my cutie stuff octopus animal toy given to me from them. I have recommended them to several of my friends, and co-workers. Go and visit them...wont regret it...promise u that. I am looking forward to getting my tattoo #2 from them.

So I actually live about 3.5 hrs aways didnt want to veer too far from base due to surgery recovery saw the shop was close by was bored out my mind decided to check it out. The experience was great they have prior military working in the shop as well as some really great artists mine being CHARLIE he cooked up a pretty A1 sugar skull for me if I get any more ink done while Im on the coast Ima make that 3.5 hr drive ...Dope people, excellent art, fare price ..checkem out

Im in the process of getting a 3/4 sleeve here by Zoe and shes an amazing artist. Ive had quite a few friends get work done here and Ive been impressed every single time. This place is a great shop, great vibes, great employees and quality work. Ill never let anyone else touch my skin after the experiences Ive had here. AMAZING.

Ive gotten all of piercings here for years including my septum, nose, belly, industrial; and all of them have healed perfectly, and came out absolutely amazing! Ruthie is the person to go to for piercings. She takes her time to make sure your piercing is even and the turn out is always perfect!
