Steve is the only Tattoo ARTIST that I will let work on me. Every time he has tattooed me has been a great experience. He is a professional and produces quality art. He expects and demands the same dedication from anyone working for him as well. Hammer and Nail is the cleanest and most hygienic tattoo parlor I have ever seen. The autoclave is routinely calibrated and maintained to produce hospital grade sterilization. Few shops dedicate themselves to this level of sterility assurance. I have traveled around the world, and wherever my travels take me I will always come back to Hammer And Nail.

I went here for my first tattoo just recently and did not know what to expect because I had not had any yet. After talking to Steve about the process and the piece that I wanted done I was excited and knew I wanted to get it done here. He was reasonably priced, knew what I wanted and was very cool the whole time. Steve even had some suggestions to make my tattoo look more natural where I wanted it. I would recommend Hammer & Nail Tattoo to anyone and would gladly tell everyone where I got my artwork done. Clean shop, cool staff that cares, & overall great experience!

I got my nose pierced here, and it was my first piercing besides my regular ear piercings. The guy I had (cannot remember his name) was super cool & made sure I knew how to take care of my piercing. The pain was pretty much nonexistent and he made sure my nose stopped bleeding and was okay before I was walking out of the shop. I watched him sterilize the equipment and make sure his hands and such were washed. Very clean place, nice staff and an excellent place to go for piercings. Will be back soon for more!

In my opinion they were high priced and seemed to hurry the piece. I had gun a tribal piece and the person who was inking didnt have very steady hands, therefore my outlines were not very precise. Not likely I will go there again but that is only one person in the shop that I am speaking of and for the privacy of that person I will not divulge his name. On another hand the people are very friendly the shop seems clean.

I have been Tattooed and also pierced here several times by Steve. He is an awesome artist, very friendly. Along with his staff!! Very clean respectable place. They make you feel very combfortable. I have sent dozens of people here , and all have great things to say. I currently live in New Jersey now and still travel to have all of my body modifications done here.
