Bad customer services. My uncle bought a Samsung TV and I helped him out to open it. The TV is too small and we tried to put it back without touching any dam screws in the box, or open any packages. When he returned to the store, the guy was really rude and said the screw was missing. The guy said he will charge him $20, and then said it will be $40. He got charged $40 for missing screws? Why? Is the screw worth $40? Who set the dam price for the screw? Can customer get extra screw in case it was missing? Who can prove that if the box have the screws or not even know it was unopened? This best buy should re-train their employee to love their job. Why are they so rude? Are they not satisfy with their pay? I told my uncle, my family, and people I know to never ever stop by this place for any purchases. Does Best Buy even know that there are a lot of bad review on Google and to solve the problem? Fix it. Sincerely, American Speak

I I used to like Best Buy. Two different complaints: (1) Geek Squad transferred documents from my "fried" all-in-one to a new $1,000 PC, but sent the PC home without a power cord....still dont know if Im going to get one from them or not. (2) The Geek Squad people seem to know what they are doing when you can get their attention, but corporate management has guaranteed horrible customer service by cutting staff, In the last six months, Ive gone to Best Buy about 6-7 times regarding one piece of equipment or another AND bought a new computer. I have NEVER, during this time, waited LESS than 30 minutes and often its been 45 to 60 minutes to get help, even when all I needed was simply to ask a question about which connector cord to buy for a particular purpose. (Since Im no techie, I need help with these things.) So, kudos to the technical staff and tar-and-feathers to corporate management that cuts staff so badly.

Knew what $900 sony tv I wanted going in here, sales guy tried to talk me out of it saying 4k and oled was the way to go so he showed me a $7000 tv instead dumbing down my initial choice. Tried to explain to him I had already done my research and knew what I wanted so he reluctantly gave me a few minutes of his time to chat about the "blue collar" tv. Furthermore, I just got a 10% off moving coupon that says absolutely nothing about not being able to be used on open box items and yet I was told I was silly to think I could in that these OB items were already discounted. Really? Put it in the small print on the coupon then. Funny thing I ended up going to the Midlothian best buy and they said sure I could use it on OB items and I wasnt hassled at all there. Its like the Kids at Glen Allen best buy are too cool for school unless you want to drop big money. Ill take my petty $900 to the Midlothian location then.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I was greeted at the door by a gentleman who offered to sign me up for some kind of promotional offer. When I walked by and said I wasnt interested the gentleman mad a physical barrier with his arm and told me i couldnt go in the store unless I signed up for their stupid thing. I felt as if i was dealing with a door man at a bar not a friendly employee. I am a professional in the trades and would never treat any customer in such a manner. I was close to physically engaging with the guy but refrained and told him that this was the most ridiculous thing i had ever heard and that I would never shop at this location again and between my family and I we have purchased 10s of thousands of dollars in products from this particular store but now I wouldnt even buy a box a staples from the place.

happened to visit your store to buy a NOTE 5 samsung and waited for 15 min for someone to talk to me. ( no one even bothered to greet me). Finally some lady asked me to come over and I asked her if i can buy a NOTE 5 gold samsung. She looked into the locker and said there is no gold one as if she is waiting for me to leave. I asked if I can buy it online and pick in the store, she said I can do that but I would have to buy full price and cannot avail the ATT next online. But then I said the website says I can actually purchase ATT next online, but somehow the website it asking me to visit the store so that someone can help me. Then she said with a disgusting expression on her face.."then sorry we cant help you" I donno how bestBuy is doing the business with these kind of idiotic sales ppl in the stores.

The selection isnt what it use to be. Still a impressive variety of electronics. The floor employees need to chill a bit though. In five minutes of being in the store I was asked six times if I needed help. I wish also you had a larger selection of ram, ssd hybrid drives, computer parts, a live functioning Playstation VR(I havent found one anywhere and I wont buy it till I try it) to help the more do it yourself individual like you use to have. This maybe a corporate decision but it phases out your usefulness to the individuals who need parts. You carry a impressive number of laptops and graphics cards but everything else is kind of bust in the PC area eaten by a blaring sterile area of the same laptop PC over and over. Room for improvement.

If you want to go there repair computer, it is not a smart choice. I bought a desktop last year from bestbuy, and this week my computer has some issue can not open. I went Greek Squad for repairing it. The staff said my GPU was bad, so I ordered a new one from there. After 5 days , I went there, they said it was not GPU problem, it was power supply problem. They told me I need get a new one computer, they cannot fix it. And then I went a computer local store called richmond greek. They looked at my computer and told me my computer got virus. Then they help me remove the virus. Are you kidding me bust buy?? Waste my whole week, and told me a wrong direction and problem! It was really sucks. Please hire some professional staff next time!

Im always amazed when stores go to great lengths and expense to promote their products, and then fail to provide the most important ingredient of all to insure sales, customer service. I left my favorite store to compare prices with Best Buy and was totally ignored when I entered the store, had to approach several people (doing nothing)to get help and was directed off on my own to research the product. For the staff to be friendly and helpful is not an unrealistic expectation. I even thought of suggesting that staff visit their competition to see how customers should be treated, but no one was interested in my comments about their poor customer service. I wont even bother to go back. Rose

Bad customer service, slow as can be!!!!!! I went to 3 different departments, having people ask each other how to do things. I got tired of being dragged around the store with workers who didnt know what they were suppose to be doing & who looked like they were on their "break time." The Short Pump area is known to be very busy & have lots of traffic so the staff should be trained to deal with people coming into the store to buy things. And not to mention, it was a slow, empty, snowy, Wednesday night. No one in Richmond goes out when it snows so needless to say the store was not busy. I am sure going to think twice about going back there again.
