I went to purchase a small diamond and have it set into my wife’s ring after one had fallen out. The quote was higher than I would have thought given my experience in the past, but being new to the area and willing to pay more to have it done right I decided to go forward with it. After I picked up the ring, it no longer fit my wife’s finger. After some complaints that nothing they did could have changed the size (although it was dramatically different than when we gave it to them) they ultimately begrudgingly agreed to resize it. After a few attempts we got it “close enough” and left. I say close enough because after multiple attempts we were over it and wanted to be done with it and them. Less than two weeks after the repair the same stone fell out. Rather than go back to go through the same experience we decided to eat the cost and go someplace else. Although this event took place months ago, it has bothered me so much that even after all this time when researching another jewelry store, I felt compelled to write a review. The store was beautiful and in a convenient location, but I would not recommend them for repairs.

I dropped off my wedding band and engagement ring to be remounted into a safer setting (I was constantly catching my diamond engagement ring on things and compromising the setting). I trusted that my ring was in great hands. What I didnt expect was the sentimental ideas that the owner had to make my new ring even more special than before. I had my daughter with me (who is 11) and as he designed my new ring with all of the stones from my original setting he had two diamonds left over--that he offered to make into a set of earrings for her on her special wedding day. Not only do I have an amazingly stunning new ring (his design was above and beyond my expectations), but we have a set of sweet diamond earrings that will always hold a special place in our hearts for our daughter. We are beyond happy with Grace Jewelers--they truly did a phenomenal job!
