I have to give 1 star because stars is not an option!!! This was my second and LAST trip to Kay Jewelers-Fair Oaks Mall-Fairfax,Va. We were so impressed with Terri that we decided to give them another chance. I received a LeVian chocolate diamond for Mothers Day 2014, and as happy as I was with getting the ring the overall customer experience was horrible. We were LIED to. The salesgirl (Ruby) was dead set on the sale, she was aggressive. She did not have to be because the sale was already done. She told us "No Interest" on the new purchase and the existing purchases as well at a set monthly rate. This sounded great but the manager Phary told me tonight that this was incorrect. Indicating that Ruby was new (only 2 months working) this was NOT my problem lady. You as the manager should make sure that you train sales people "PROPERLY". In turn I called the Corporate office for resolution. As I have read in reviews on "YELP!" stay away from this store they will make your special memories a daily nightmare!!! Youve been warned!!!

Horrible shopping experience. Waited a while before someone asked us if we were being helped. Wanted to purchase a ring for an upcoming event. They had great difficulty entering my information in on their tablet and after 5 unsuccessful attempts they finally did it on the regular computer. I woke up this morning to discover that they charged my card twice for the same purchase. It then took over half an hour on the phone with the store only for them to tell me that hey cannot fix the issue and that I will need to call the Kay Costumer Service line when they are open tomorrow. The store didnt even apologize for double billing my card. If you have time to waste and enjoy the headache of trying to get something simple fixed then I recommend buying from here. However, if you value your time and enjoy when things are done correctly the first time I suggest going to a different jeweler.

I would advise staying away from here if you need a ring. The Asian lady that helped us was incredibly short with us, consistently and aggressively tried to push add-ons to our purchase (No, I do not want another line of credit) , explained almost nothing, and was incredibly rude. She said my girlfriends finger was "that big?", proceeded to help another customer while working with us (there was another free employee working), and overall had a very bad attitude. She had very little customer service knowhow. Now I admit I wasnt buying anything very expensive, but that doesnt change the fact that I am a customer. I felt demeaned, belittled, and overall humiliated. We will see if it is better when we go back to pick up the ring from a resizing, but I doubt anything will change.

First, they get the sizing wrong on a ring right before a marriage ceremony. Then, they signed me up for a credit card without asking me if I wanted one. Who knows what kind of effect this has on my credit score. They may seem nice and helpful, but dont believe it. Behind the shroud of politeness are shrewd and deceitful practices.

The worst experience at a Jewelary store. I was told to come and pick up the items, when I get there there is a long waiting time. The ordering process was not any better. My last time in this store.
