They have an Indoor Mall and an Outdoor Mall. On nice sunny days, its great to walk outside, while shopping, or enjoying your lunch, at one of the many restaurants, or a nice cool ice cream during hot days, while sitting outside and enjoying the sunrays. The mall has frequent and fun activities. Today my boys loved to attend the Kids Festival. Every year my husband and I like to take the kids to enjoy the xmas music with the Show of lights. Chick Fil-A does a lot of activities in the mall for youngsters with their families. What Im most grateful is having Wiggle Worms inside the mall. I can leave the kids up to 5 hours and go shopping, mostly during Xmas time, do errands outside the mall or if I need to go to any of my Doctors appointments. The play area inside the mall can get a little too crowd sometimes if you go at the busiest time of the day or of the year. I think the time between 1 and 3 pm are the best to enjoy it. I used to take my 4 years old then have lunch with him, walk around, then relax at the play area. My son would play in the area while Id be drinking my coffee, then by 3 we would head to pick up his older brother out of school. If I have to"drag" the boys On "Costco days" I would give them lunch there (pizza or hot dog), and I would eat costcos turkey "Panini" style. Having the Mall within distance and so many services, as a parent, it makes our life a lot easier, and less stressful! ;)

Mall has many closed stores, is too expensive for the area and the handicapped automatically doors work about half the time. They do have a food court but it is expensive and most food spaces are empty so theres not much choice. They have opened up an open air mall area behind the actual mall with VERY expensive stores, restaurants jewelry stores etc. With the exception of the store "Books a Million, I wouldnt bother especially on hot or cold days unless you like to go constantly in and out of doors. There is a combination Bowling alley, Movie Multiplex that is quite nice but again, expensive. The best part of the theatre is the Adult Section (MUST BE 21) which has 3 theatres, love seats which have arms that lift out of the way for "Date Night" , good wheelchair placement, real food and a lovely, quaint, full bar as well as the regular items. You can look down over the rail to see the under 21 crowd without hearing them. Adult seats can reserved on line for the best seats and to guarantee that those of us who are in a wheelchair are sitting right next to our "Dates" Handicapped Parking is rather limited throughout the entire parking lots especially for lift vans. I would give the Theatre 4 stars but the rest is mediocre at best.

This place seems like a great place to go for a shopping, but I suggest mall management better choose their tenants. I came there for iphone repair, the guy on the repair cart was rude, but this isnt the biggest problem. He damaged motherboard on my phone during screen replacement and told me that now I have to pay for this also or live with new motherboard issues (it starts turn off time to time). What a nightmare dealing with these guys. He is a real crook so beware! Stay away at all cost!!! I had to bring it to more expensive service down the road and they confirmed that my phone was damaged by previous unprofessional "technician". P.S if you will need phone repair please stay away from this mall !!!

Today the Spotswood church had a fun day in the mall and it was cool for my kids. (10-23-2015) The mall is ok but ,the FOOD was awful, it was so oily and greases my kids did not eat anything. I spent $25.00 on a nasty raw hamburger and some hard as a rock chicken tenders. On the way out my kids were so hungry they wanted to eat a hamburger from MC. DONALDS,something they never would do,because they dont really like MC Ds. They said that is was better than the malls food.lol So if u want to shop its is a good plan to, but dont eat unless u are ready for a disappointed.:(

The mall has arisen from the dead! It was in serious trouble 10-15 years ago with tenants pulling out. It seemed it was only 40-50% leased at best. Many went across Rt. 3 to Central Park as it got larger and more built up. New ownership came in and sunk a lot of money into this place to bring it back! Many new, diverse tenants have come in. It has been classed up on the overall appearance. You have the newer outdoor type shopping experience out back between the mall and movie theater. Its also still the typical high schooler hangout on the weekends.

Hmm, this is one town center that I only frequent when something is there that I need. Its not a place that I choose to go just to hang out and thusly not somewhere that I find myself traveling to often or by will. The traffic is quite the chore to get around though the traffic circle that they added sometime ago is much better than it used to be so kudos for that. My wife tells me that theyve added a MAC counter at Macys so there you go, for her its a 5 out of 5. Its amazing how our different opinions shape what we deal with to get what we want.

Its a mall. Theres nothing super special about it. They do occasionally host FredCon, which was okay. Fair warning, the backside parking tends to be full a lot of the time due to Splitsville and Paragon Theaters being right there. The bathrooms next to the food court are always pretty clean, and they do have a specific, "Family room," which is always a nice option. I wouldnt recommend the free kid play area, however, but I dont know that I would recommend them anywhere else either. The choices for the establishments inside are pretty standard.

My most recent visit to the spotsylvania mall will detour me from future visits, While in a store making a purchase, one of their power hungry douche bag security guards decided to YELL across the hall and store to tell me to remove my hood, then continued to yell across the hall as I stared at him and ignored his rude request. he then entered the store and threatened me to take the hood off or leave.. there is no posted dress code and it was cold. This sort of rude power hungry bullshit is not something I wish to deal with while trying to shop.

Nice mall. Plenty of options. Im nearly 40 y/o and was approached by security to remove my hood or I would be removed. Haha. I was compliant. Alone. And in a work uniform. A rule is a rule and I understand that but dont come at me deciding the outcome before making me aware of policy and procedure. There are correct ways to handle situations and then there are ways to cause a situation. Hopefully they werent trying for a reaction. Aside from that I enjoy the mall and the Towne Centre out back.
