Although the mall is under a glorious expansion. I shall rate it before the expansion. I shall change the review once the expansion and improvements are completed. I have visited this mall tons of time since its close to my area. The logo really needs improvement, and the gates too. The windows everywhere is not appealing to my eyes and maybe some other human eyes. The Food Court has nice employees and always help you. They are kind and does everything to serve you; However, the food is not always the highest quality you can have. I once had food poisoning from the food and had to stay in my house for 2 days. The childrens area is great, but could be wider. The staff on all the other stores are great, but there are trash everywhere on the floor sometimes. The anchor stores like Macys and Walmart are the primary culprit. Walmart is such a slop. You see kids crying and messing around, you see customers raging, you pretty much see any negative things you see on Walmart (especially on Black Friday). Macys, although with the most charming employees, the employees are annoying at times. Sometimes, real annoying. So annoying that you might need to slowly walk away from the store. The store is not appealing too. There are no decorations or anything. Its pretty much like an abandoned store. There are also slop everywhere too. Some other stores, like American Eagle, IHOP, and Best Buy mobile, are terrific stores. They have great service, and are always with you. Although my orders did get mixed up at IHOP when I was having breakfast, they gladly helped me out. It seems as though the mall stores are mixed. Back to focusing on the layout of the mall. There are no decorations, like Macys, only the Food Court gets all of the decorations and plants. It feels very empty, even though there are a stampede of people walking past you. There is a clock, but it feels like its been put straight at an empty spot anywhere. This has great potential, but not executed properly. I hope the expansion makes a turn quickly, because this mall is really dull. Overall, I would rate it 2/5 stars due to the slop, lack of decorations, and the anchor stores. 3/10 -Tonagty

What was once a Joyce place to visit and take my family is no long i do commend the new owner off trying with all the new additions but its stores like dollar plus and loco polo that replaced the arcade when the mall already has 12 great options for my favorite store is r&r which i think is deserving of a bigger store the 1 in Manassas is the 1st store and the smallest if you have been to there spring field store you know what i mean i see they are opening a place called waxys i am excited but it has been over a year and really could care less at this point the new needs to get rid of these nickel and dime shops and put stores people want they use to i love this mall for 3 reasons. Reason 1. I have a lot of great memories from my child hood like the fountains and carousel which are no longer there. Reason 2 i love R&R and air kintex best stores by far. Reason 3 i want to believe ot will come so i still go to the mall but only because of the stores i enjoy. It has become less and less enjoyable i pray the owner will read this and stop bringing in the people i fear to bring my family around i grow tired of going to fair oaks but if im going out with the family what choice do i have im not trying to be rude just constructive

Stoped here in my semi truck to buy groceries and eat breakfast at IHOP. After spending around 100 dollars on the property I left with a arm full of groceries. I was parked in a empty back parking lot and left a note in my window that stated I was shopping on the property. As soon as I got to my truck. Hasnt even opened my door, security pulls up and asks me when Im "bugging" off. She states Im on private property and need to leave asap. I wasnt very happy about it and told her I was a paying customer and had as much right as anyone else to be on the property. I had been there for maybe three hours. So I ignored her and loaded my truck and put up my groceries and she comes back to harass me again telling me she called the police. I am a hard working man driving a truck supporting my family and this mall called the police on me simply for being a patron. I think this is discriminatory against truck drivers and this place should be avoided. The all sucks and didnt have any stores worth even going into. I wouldnt come back and spend anymore of my hard earned money here.

NEVER AGIAN COMING TO THIS MALL!!! We rarely go to this mall we live to far but since we were in the area we decided to buy some shoes for the kids. All the employees were very nice and friendly BUT their food court is GROSS!! THERE WERE ROACHES CRAWLING ALL OVER!!! There is a bench on in the food court and they were like 10 roaches crawling all around I WAS DISCUSSTED. What really bothered me was that the food court was full of people and no one saw this to be a HUGE problem I cant believe people could eat like this. The cleaning lady was there sweeping and the roaches did not seem to faze her. EWWWWWWWW As soon as we left the mall I took the shoes we purchased out of the boxed and threw the box out in the trash can near the I HOP I also shook out my purse, the stroller we had I mean EVERYTHING was inspected and made sure we did not take these gross critters home! Its so sad to see that a mall could look so bad. Please if you eat at the food court check you chairs and tables to make sure you dont have any uninvited quests.

I write this review only for the shoe depot that is here. Overall Manassas Mall is okay. Now that they have a Walmart SuperCenter its not bad. You can get things at good prices. However, the shoe depot that is here is terrible. Please read the review below before buying from them. Save yourself the trouble of having to shop here. This place is terrible both in service and in shoe quality. Every shoe we have bought here has had defects. Up until yesterday they took it back. Yesterday we had a grumpy manager (perhaps owner) there who refused to take my shoe back because it was worn and had slight mud at the bottom of it. The shoe is only 10 days. Ive worn it twice (once on a rainy day where it did get slight mud on it) and already it is starting to come off at the seams and on top of that it hurt to wear it. But this person wouldnt take it back. So Ive just wasted $20 there. If you shop there, dont say that you havent been warned.

The Manassas Mall has a good amount of space or flow to walk around outside of the stores. Good variety of different stores but nothing really new. Overall good for what it is nothing really bad about it. The only problems, small ones at that, that I can think of is why does the buses only pick up on one side? Most malls have maybe two but if your at one end of the mall you have to hustle across it to catch the bus if you are running behind. Also, they have benchs and seats inside at a lot of places. Even a couple soft sitting areas with cushion chairs, all that is great. But why have nowhere around them to charge/plug in your phone? I guess they dont want people hanging around or loitering but if I am their to shop or whatever I just wish their was one or two spots to charge up. EDIT: Oh and needs a movie theater. Dont know why I just thought about it, even a small one would finish it out good.
