My husband initially went to Ashley furniture, Fredericksburg to price out some replacement furniture. We had recently moved from out of state and the moving company we hired stole all our household goods, so we were in the market to replace multiple rooms. We had bought some items from Ashley in the past and loved both the quality and look. In addition anything that can hold up against my three children and many pets is defiantly a positive in my book. When my husband first went in, right before the 4th of July sale, there were several sales people that said hello, however they seemed too busy in what they were doing to stop and see if my husband needed assistance. Mike, however, stopped what he was doing and assisted my husband. My husband explained our situation and proceeded to pick out furniture. He explained that he had to bring me back over the weekend to make the final decision. Fast forward to the Sunday before the 4th. My husband brought me back to see what he had chosen. We were greeted at the door by someone else, but we asked to work with Mike because he was so helpful the Thursday before. Mike showed us the furniture my husband had originally picked out and answered my questions about the previous selections. I wanted to look around the showroom some more, but I did not want someone following me around the store, waiting for me to buy something. I explained I had some other things to buy and needed to still look. I told him we would let him know when we were ready to lock everything in or if we had any questions. Mike was very respectful and let us continue to look without hovering, but was attentive enough to check on us periodically. In the end we bought multiple rooms. Overall this was a great experience. Mike was amazing from the moment my husband walked in the Thursday before until completion of the sale. He ran and checked every price and researched every piece of furniture we requested. There were even a couple things we bought that were on the show room floor, but did not have a sku in the computer. He took the time to run down price and information. He even went and got balloons for my two little ones. Originally he was the only one that was willing to truly take the time help us in a difficult situation, although other sales people were more than happy to help us AFTER they found out how many rooms we were purchasing. Mike on the other hand was more interested in making sure we were happy with what we chose then trying to talk numbers. He was very respectful to me and my family, giving us the space to look, but following up on any questions we may have. He defiantly went above and beyond for us. Mike has set a new standard for customer service and we will come to expect that kind of service from other sales people. He is the reason that we bought so much from Ashley and has established a loyal customer.

Another update (4/817) no return phone,call,as,promised by the last person,I spoke with on the 25th. When I called today after a long hold I was told somebody from upper management would be in contact with us to set an appt for another technician yo come to our home to see if the spray foam solved the issue. I am the customer telling you that it did not remotely address the problem but what do I know. When I told her it was not fair for me to spend yet again another Saturday dealing with this I was told they would be calling me. I asked to speak to her boss and she put me on a long hold and said she was on another line and could send me to her voicemail. I told her I would wait and she said that was not an option since there were other calls coming in. I left a message on the voicemail and then called the store and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was busy and I provided my name and number with the associate stating he would give her the message. I informed him that my phone is always on me and I would wait for their call. Another update (3/25/17) still trying to get the original issue fixed and they have sent me fabric for the third time to have the service personnel work on the arm. This technician comes in and says the other two people who have come to our home didnt know what they were talking about. He proceeds to turn my furniture upside down and spray "spray foam" (like you would buy at Lowes or home depot) into the arm of the recliner. Tomorrow we can turn it over and that will have fixed my arm of my recliner from squeeking when we lean on it. Not sure but I do believe if you said this was this fix 6months ago that we could have done this ourselves and saved all of the ridiculous torment you have put us through. Not sure that if I have a claim on my insurance I bought on the furniture is still good now with all this foam now sprayed inside my furniture to help hold it together?! Update...here it is Dec 24 and we were told they would be at our home between 12-3 so we woke up extra early and rushed our last minute Christmas shopping...we are now told that they are not coming again...please come get this awful product and give me back my money and my life!! Worst purchase of my adult life. We bought 2 reclining loveseats and are on our 4th exchange and 6th visit...at their convenience mind you. Not to mention the appts they set and then cancel while you have rearranged your life for them. The only response customer service knows is "there is a no refund policy and i know how up feel". Poor product and poor customer service doesnt begin to describe what use to be a well stood behind name.

I only gave it one star due to BEFORE I bought anything the staff were nice to my kids. My husband and myself just bought a house and wanted to get nice new furniture. Well after multiple trips we finally found what we liked. Well before we paid, and were sitting down with the sales associate we SPECIFICALLY asked if our cat scratched the chairs (which has fabric on it) would it be covered to get it fixed. And we were told that yesh, but only can be fixed 1 time. Which I understood, we asked again before the end of everythung. Since the protection plan was $399.99. And again the same answer. (I even called the store one day and asked the same thing and was told the SAME THING) well we bought the furniture on 2/20 and was to bet delivered on 3/03. It DID NOT HAPPEN, we didnt get our furniture until the week of Easter (3/24 I believe) mind you I have 4 kids none of them had beds, no living room furniture nor dinning table! After multiple calls and being told over and over that it was on back order there wasnt anything that could be done. So we have now had the furniture just over 3 months and the corner of my table is warping and there is a split in it, I called and had a claim started. When I then asked about my chairs that our new kittens have had a fun time with, she said thats not covered. I was taken back for a moment and questioned it, I was told if an animal soils on it they will cover it, but not of its bitten or scratched. So I explained how the only reason I bought this specific set was because the Protection plan would cover it at least once. She apologized again and said that she gets a lot of calls stating staff have told customers this. But its not true. I have been trying to call the store for over and over but no one seems to be answering! I will NEVER go there again, if I was about to personally return it to the store I would. So now I have a $1,400.00 table with 2 $200(a peice) chairs that my kittens have scratched up the back, a $399 "protection plan" that does me NO good! This is the worst service ever and I am disappointed on myself for believing the staff, when I obviously knew it couldnt be. Why else would I ask so many times about the coverage?!! Take your hard earned money else where and do even wall in there, you will be lied to, your purchase will be on back order and no one returns phone calls!
