Shopping here was a terrible experience. My girlfriend, Heather Harvey, was looking at engagement rings when they asked her if she wanted to order it. She asked a variety of questions such as: Will i have to pay now, will i be billed before i pick the ring up, and can the ring stay here until i am ready to pick it up and pay for it. To all of these they said she would not be billed before she picked it up, she could leave the ring there until she was ready to pay for it, and no you will not pay now. She, my girlfriend, told them before anything she could not afford payments until JBR was paid off and thats why she couldnt buy it right now and they said ok. When she signed the pad (it does not say on the pad what you are signing for) she thought she was signing to verify that she wanted to special order the ring and also that she understands what the price would be. Before the ring was even in the store she got billed for a payment that was 20 over what they said it would be. When she confronted them about it they said they do not remember saying any of those things and when she asked to return the ring they said it was too late and past the 10 day return policy. Her ring was also in past the date they said it would be in. Overall it is a very bad place to shop. They even told my friend the same thing, that she would not be charged until she picked the ring up from the store, luckily she went through Kays. JBR has far better customer service and they do not lie to you just to get a sale.

I came into Reeds hoping to have a better experience than the one we had the other day at Kays. Needless to say after dealing with Whitney it was great! I had shopped with her before and I remembered that when I went there. I told her about what happened to me at Kays and she said sorry for them!! She then went on to tell me about their credit and pricing. I immediately felt comfortable with her. I told her I wouldnt get approved but she got me to try. Well I got approved and she showed me earrings that I bought AND I got a really low payment!! I picked a few rings that I liked too and went home to get my husband. He got approved too! He bought my rings. They were both for my birthday and anniversary!! Whitney was so wonderful kind and thoughtful. I told my husband to get rid if his other card!! So my five stars are for Whitney and her excellent care!! Thank you so much!!! The only bad part of the experience was when Rachel came over to get her to help these other people who were about to leave. She was the opposite of Whitney. She moved to fast and just kept rushing. She ended up ringing up the wrong ring and I brought it back today and exchanged it with Whitney. I felt that she was unfriendly and cold. And if I hadnt had the experience with Whitney I wouldve just cancelled everything. She was sooo patient.

Reeds is a wonderful store the workers are very respectful , courteous and professional. My wife & I have been returning customers for over 20 years. We frequent this store a lot. We prefer Rachel , she has always give us great helpful advice , and has great taste in quality in cho jewelry. She has strong willingness to help when it is need. When we are in the mood of buying something special , we will only go to Rachel at Reeds Jewelry Chesapeake Square Mall. I have sent many of my family members to Reeds Jewelry. They all were happy with their visit with Rachel at Reeds. She makes me feel confident when buying for my wife or myself. If it was not for Rachel"s deposition and sincere knowledge in understanding customer adequate needs I would not be a a returning patron for 20 years. My wife tells me If Rachel isn"t there , then wait until she returns in the store. Because Rachel is the only person that she wants to buy from at Reeds Chesapeake Square.

I have been to several stores Kays ,zales and was not getting the kindness helpfulness or the knowledge of the product that I was looking for or wanted to create. I was looking for someone to listen and help me create a special piece that would put people in awe. This is when I meet Rachel and she listened and gave excellent feed back. I have known her for over 20 years and has purchased several pieces from her and will not purchase jewelry from no other but Rachel because she understands my ideals. I enjoy the quality of the products and the service at Reeds and will be a client for life.
