I just discovered the Treasure Hound a few weeks ago and Ive been in about once a week since then. Its small - nowhere near the selection of, say, a Goodwill or Salvation Army - but the tradeoff is that whats there is well-selected, clean, and in great condition. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly as well as knowledgeable - when I asked to look at some jewelry behind the counter, the woman working had clearly researched every piece that was there to be able to tell me where it all came from. Ive pretty much only focused on clothes, but they have an extensive selection of books and housewares as well.

This place is awesome! I hate to tell everyone and blow this secret but all the money goes to a no kill shelter, so its good all around. This place hit the nail on the head, not only do they have good stuff, they also have really good prices. Ive gotten large framed and matted prints for $10 and under, they have leaded crystal and quality silver plated items as well. Its not a big place but its worth a gander for sure. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are looking for quality items at a good price, look no further.

Good shop to find unique items for a good cause. Just be aware they are not always open their posted hours and sometimes they ask you to leave if they are closing early. Today it was 2:30 when the posted close was 6. I asked the cashier if they post schedule changes online and the answer was no. Another customer said you never know when they are open. They also have lots of rule signs to take note of.

I am always happy to support a place that not only recycles clothes (if you buy from the mall they most likely come from sweat shops), but in the process donates around 85% of their proceeds toward animal shelters. What a beautiful concept! My favorite thrift store :) if youre going to buy reused clothes you might as well get them here so youre money goes toward something that matters.

Love the store for the great work they do supporting homeless animals in the Northern Virginia area. I am a frequent contributor and shopper here. Its a great place to find special items for homes I stage and sell, as well as my own home. Make sure to get a yellow loyalty card if you plan to return. Once your card is punched youll receive a discount on a future sale.

The clothing selection was great and the prices were reasonable. However, I was a little disappointed with the donation process. I asked a few questions about items accepted and the responses I received from the volunteer were short and borderline rude. I will bring my donations somewhere else next time.

This is a very friendly, well stocked and well curated store which benefits a very good cause. Staff are friendly and helpful and the hours of opening are amazing for a business which relies on volunteers.

This is a beautiful little shop for just about anything you can think of. Best part is all money goes to a no kill shelter. I have shopped there and will be shopping there for as long as they are there.

This place was a disappointment to my children because they thought there were going to be animals there and my 10 year old ask the lady do you have any animals here and the lady said NO ARE YOU DUMB
