This Costco has the tamest parking situation in the area. Even on weekends, youll find a good number of spots. At other Costcos in the area, its like Black Friday every weekend. Of course, Costco carries all the bulk goodies you can name and then some. Its your one-stop shop for groceries, pharmacy, home, outdoor, beauty, and gift shopping. Where else can I find enough apples to feed a horse, gift baskets for all the neighbors, outdoor gear to last a year in the wilderness, a gigantic teddy bear that even a grown adult can sit on, salon beauty products that will take months to get through, and a dozen and more roses? I also have to mention that this Costco has the BEST Verizon representative around. His name is Sean and he is fantastic. I was thinking about getting an iPhone 6S this weekend and so I went to the Verizon store in Tysons Corner to ask a few questions about how upgrading would impact my family plan. Surprise surprise, the reps there dont know a thing about Verizon. See, I have an unlimited plan and I knew, from online research, that if I upgraded, I wouldnt be able to keep my unlimited data but I would still get 6GB just for myself. The rep at Verizon in Tysons didnt know that and told me that it would be 6GB to share in the family plan. In discussions with Sean however, he not only knew about this offer but went above and beyond and was able to let me keep my unlimited plan without having to pull the full price of the phone. I basically paid the upgrade fee (and am getting a $50 rebate) to get the new phone with unlimited data. Now thats customer service. So if youre in the market for a phone or upgrade and need help, go to Sean. All the other staff members from all the departments are also very friendly and helpful too. Also, this Costco has self-checkout lanes. And who can say no to $1.50 hot dog with a drink?

Tire center is awful. Do not use them. They are very inefficient and customer service is terrible. I have waited at nearby Starbucks for simple tire rotation and balance. Been told it would take an hour or maybe a bit more. Never was called that the car was ready. I called them to find out the car had been completed over an hour ago. Tried to address problem with store management. Was told it was fixed and wouldnt happen again...guess what, it did. I have lost faith in their ability to provide service at the Tire Center and will go to another COSTCO or shop for tires and services will someone that cares.

This is the worst Costco in Loudoun County. I know they cant control the number of shoppers, but the parking lot is always a madhouse, the aisles inside the store are crowded, the shoppers just wander in every direction at once and no one seems to watch where theyre walking or if theyre holding up other shoppers at the intersections of aisles. People walk right in front of you without so much as an acknowledgment that youre even there, which makes it dangerous for everyone. The overcrowded aisles and odd layout add to the aggravation and frustration. I wont shop there unless its the absolute last choice.

8 out of 10 times, the staff is very rude to me. Beth, the customer service rep, in particular. I was returning a product and I ask if I can switch out the same product. She informed me no, I replied really? She then proceeded to cause a scene saying your attitude is rude. I apologize three times, I was not being rude, I was just surprised. I informed the manager since Beth was short and did not even reciprocate her behavior. I do not care if I look young, the staff needs to treat a paying customer with respect. There are some nice employees, especially the self-check out.

Dont get your tires or rotate at this location. You need to wait at least an hour just to talk to anyone here and at least three hours after that to get your car work on. Not worth it with all the wait. After four hours of wait, they did not check the tires pressure and my spare tire, but they did do my tire rotation and balance, which is good. They also had very bad customer service once you point out their mistake, and they would ignore you. Worst experience ever in my life at Costco.

Went here and after checking out. The cashier told me that my member card is deactivated and threw it in the trash. Literally all she said was your card is not activated and threw it in the trash. What kind of customer service is that? I dont care if you dont speak English well, its common courtesy . Atleast explain to me why my card is deactivated when i paid for a years worth membership. And give me my card back. You all need to do a better training your employees

This is easily one of the best Costco locations in the area. The warehouse itself is always fairly clean and organized. Other than on weekends even after hours the lines always move quickly and are never very deep. This Costco also still has the self checkout which can be a HUGE time saver if you have only a handful of items. The food area is fairly standard with plenty of seating (they can get a little backed up by people not being ready to go etc).

My boyfriend and I signed up for a membership and proceeded to shop. After getting about $600 worth of stuff, we were told we could not pay with a check. I understand if they have certain policies about check transactions, but we were not given an adequate or coherent explanation. All the clerk told us was we couldnt pay by check because we had signed up for a membership that day. What a croc! Now Im out $50 of a worthless membership.

I was waiting in the customer service area because I had a question about my card there were three associates working there and there were only one customer ahead of me. I was standing there for 15 mins but nobody even notice me. they offer the worse customer service and there prices are going up every week for the last couple of months compared to Safeway and their customer service is worse than all.

First time at this location. Not very organized. Came in with return. My friend had to go to membership. We were in same line. She inquired. I mentioned I had a return. Was not directed and stood in membership line unknowingly for 10 minutes only to be told to go all the way to the back of a long returns line later. Definitely, not pleased. Poor customer service at customer service counter.

FWIW, the best Costco in NoVa. Wider selection than FFX & Arlington, easier access thru the store than Sterling or Fairfax, better checkout lane layout than others (esp. Manassas), and finally, someone figured out how to set up a food service line (1 line, multiple cashiers). Only odd spot is the "out" door - shouldnt get that clogged...

I enjoy going to all the Costcos in Norhtern VA, the staff from Store Manager to floor staff have been nothing but polite and Great to work with. Anything I cant find I ask one of the staff and they go out of their way to help me find my product. I appreciate the Chantiily, VA Costco the most because it is the closest to my home.
