Written 2/19/2014 Racial Profiled and Followed Around the Store like a Hoodlum! I know I dont look like the average customer that visits this store. Im a little bit taller compared to the average and a QUITE a bit darker in complexion as I am a Black American. But the fact that one of the managers at this H Mart didnt even try to hide the fact that he was following me around and watching my every move as if I was going to steal something was a huge insult to me. I was cordial when I purchased my fish offering a pronounced nod and a formal kamsahamnida (thank you) to the fish monger. I was also patient with the old ladies who stood in the way examining the ready to eat meals while I wanted to get though the narrow aisle with my shopping cart. So what did I do wrong? I think the lyrics from an old song from Stevie Wonder explains it best: "You may have the cash, But, you cant cash in your face, We dont want you living here!" Its sad but true, old Annandale Virginia which was never known for racial tolerance has had the old Southern in-hospitality towards race perpetrated by a new group. The Koreans that run the H Mart. Its mind-blowing that the battle continues. I will vote with my wallet however and I encourage you the reader to do the same. I will not be treated as a second class citizen and if you try to I will speak up. But dont worry H Mart Annandale, you wont see me again.

First of all, Annadale is a dreary and somewhat sad town. This H Mart does not fare that much better. Really cramped aisles and lacking in some groceries that I can more readily find in the H Mart in Tysons corner. However, has about 70% of what youll need from an H Mart. Once again, really dislike the location and the town itself.

Its smaller than the other location nearby, but the quality of the goods and selection of vegetables is just as good. H Mart is simply the best grocery store Ive ever encountered in terms of price, quality, and variety of the products they carry. Obviously its your number one stop for Korean ingredients and food.

Mmm, Korean food and grocery store! Excellent selection and pretty good prices to boot. Only wish it were closer to me. My favorite thing is they have single serving size, ready to eat, sashimi salmon, yellowtail and fluke available. Also they cook a variety of Korean foods daily and have them out for purchase.

Pretty decent Hmart. A bit cramped but decent selection of everything (produce, frozen food, meat, pre-cooked items, dry items, etc). The sushi selection was really slim, wish there was more of that. Definitely a great place to go if youre in need of real Asian ingredients.

I am from NYC and have been chasing "king Fish", since forever. Always longing for the easy accessibility to fresh fish markets. To my amazement my FIsh found me. The fish is imported daily from a fish market in the Bronx, not far from my sisters house. WHO KNEW??!!

비교적 유기농 풍성해서 좋았고 다양한 상품이많아 좋아요 특히 반찬류와 도시락 메뉴는 먹을만하죠 김밥맛있어요^^~♡

Excellent Korean grocery store. This location has a good selection of Asian produce and other items. The pre marinated meats - particularly the bulgogi - are excellent. Service is fine, but nothing special. Prices are very competative.

I bought a bowl of pre made bibimbap today. Within first hour after I ate, Ive started to have an abdominal pain, nausea and so on. Yes, Im experiencing "FOOD POISONING." I will not buy anything from this unmanageable store.

HMarts are similar everywhere, but not always the same. This one is in the heart of the Annandale community and has a nice liquor section. The staff are always friendly, the samples tasty and fresh.

Low key h Mart. I didnt even know this place existed until I went to kung fu tea. Tons of Korean groceries if thats what youre looking for. Very clean and friendly staff. Plenty of parking outside

I love this Hmart! They have everything I need. Fresh fruits, veggies, and the selections of ready to eat food is what distinguish this Asian market with the rest! You wont be disappointed!

I love everything about H Mart. Especially the red bean ice cream, and the produce section. Sometimes the Easter Bunny and Santa bring interesting Japanese candies to my house...

Its small so its easier to find things you are looking for, but they because its small sometimes they dont carrie things you are looking for, be aware of expired can products.

The people are very pleasent. Prices are somewhat higher because it is a neighborhood store with many lmports from Asia Good place for 1/2 mile or less walking distance

Produce and meats were very food. It however is small. If you are tall watch your head as you walk down the aisles. Stuff is hanging down from the top of the counters.

Excellent, very near to our home, for me its good to buy salads, cucumbers, tomatoes, mushroom, sometimes fruits like strawberries are also avaiable on sale prices

The smallest H Mart Ive been too. Stop by for your Korean staples if you must, but Id encourage you to hit one of the others nearby for more extensive options.

Decent Asian grocery, though I prefer the one in Fairfax a lot more. The issue here is that its a little cramped and the parking lot is cramped and confusing.

My Korean wife goes gahgah over this place. Lots of selection and the staff were really friendly. It was pretty clean too, so that was a plus.
