This place has taken a dive in the last couple years... Other than a couple cashiers, no one seems to care in this place(at least on the PM shift). Deli closes earlier then it is supposed to every time we are there(and the staff like to disappear to "grab supplies" for 25 mins during business hours). Not to mention slicing plastic into the salami and ham on two separate occasions. Stocking staff is always goofing off, and lines take forever to open up.

Food lion brand food is inexpensive but if you are looking for name brand foods you will pay more than other grocery stores. The overall selection is limited, there are not very many high end ingredients, the produce selection is limited and the organic selection is extremely small.

This is not the best grocery store. They do not have a wide variety of products and prices are not good. My family only shops here when we have an emergency (I.e, out of butter) otherwise we always go to Wegmans or Giant in Frederick. This hasnt ever made a good impression on me.

I cannot stand this place! While they keep it fairly clean, many of the school kids that they hire are inattentive or snotty. And the prices are embarrassingly high! Really, they should be a ashamed of themselves. It is highway robbery. I stop anywhere else when I can.
